To: Oceania
From: The Republic of Greater Australia and New Zealand
You have claimed Fergusson Island, Sudest Island, and Manus Island, all of which were part of the state of Papau New Guinea before the global war. As Papau New Guinea is under Australian Protection these lands are also under Australian protection. In addition you are claiming Papau New Guinea as your own as well as New Zealand. These claims are considered an aggressive action against Australia and New Zealand's sovereignty and territorial integrity. I demand that you relinquish these claims and restore your affirmation to Australia's territorial integrity and its sovereignty. If the government of Oceania does not comply to these requests the Government of Australia and New Zealand will have no choice but to declare war.
- Prime Minister David Walker
Bula kei kemudou, saka David Walker:
Claiming territories as rightfully own if they are not part of your country de facto is to be considered bullish, and by Makeatutara our honor cannot permit us abide on your demands.
If your type of claims are correct, you theoretically could also claim most of our islands, since in the mid 20th century and early 21st century they were dependent on the nation of our ancestors.
But that nation of Australia is
long gone, and as you know, as with all the other nations within this planet, if there is a similarity between the nations of today and the ones before the great cataclysm (pray we to Rūaumoko to never make it happen again), it exists only in the name of them.
We consider our claims in this area, and in Papua, legitimely valid, because all the tribes and people who live there are our brothers in Culture And Traditions, since millennia and still today, and no oppressive white-race Centralization, racism and exploitation from Sydney/Canberra and dumb excuses regarding borders artificially and unjust made in European Capitals more than 2 centuries ago, that have NO validity whatsoever, will convince us to break the bonds that all the people in all these regions want to share.
Saka Walker, be reasonable. If one single error from the past is to be amended, it is war! Let us build together a world of peace and prosperity! We have to remind you that 90% of our armed forces consist on a powerful navy, much stronger than yours, perfectly capable of defending our borders and making our small islands completely impregnable. Also, around 40% of our population of 6 million possess a boat, and armed militias would not doubt to come even in millions to storm all your shores, stretching to an impossible point your defenses in your large continent and making you suffer heavy losses, both material and human.
Our people are as pacific as our ocean, but very nationalistic too, so beware, and please be you that put down your unrightfully claims.
OOC: The islands were blank, Mengsk.
EDIT: Also, until the country of 'Australia and "New Zealand" ' has De Facto ownership and sovereignty over New Zealand, our nation will not listen to you claims over these islands. If that scenario comes, we can gladly negotiate.
