Well welcome to ya'll; I'm going to give a starting update later tonight to set the stage for everything. After that ya'll can give orders for an update which will likely occur Saturday or Sunday night.

Your position is not one of great power in Europe, that is clear. You may have fears of the great Mother Russia displacing you from your freedom. You will not have to worry, and we can guarantee we will not infringe upon your soveriegnty...as long as you promise not to join any alliances that directly conflict with Russia or interfere in Russian rule over Finnish or Baltic provinces.
Both of these will be viewed as a direct act of aggression by the Swedish government against Russia, and swift retaliation will follow.

We are only too willing to discuss our relations with the Republic of Russia, however, we currently do not have the staff to send on a diplomatic attache to St. Petersburg (AIM down, PM me.)

England, as another free-monarchy of Europe, and as a nation of Germanic peoples, shares much in common with the Second Reich. We propose a defensive alliance between our two nations.

President Francisco Rodriguez organized his oaken desk one time. His party, the PSO or Partido Socialista Obrero, had lost the recent presidential election. In coming was the PPFS or the Partido Personas Federales Socialista, and their Firebrand Leader, Juan Antonio.

The 1935 Election had been a sweeping one. The Tertulia Democracias, Socialista Obrero(of whom Francisco was a member) and the Federales Democracias were swept out of power by the up and coming groups in the nation, the Federales Socialista(of whome Juan Antonio was a part of), the Republicana Democracias, and the Nacional Federales. These new Hawkish Parties controlling the Legislative and Executive were immensly popular among the people. Juan Antonio was almost a cult figure, and many Confederate Newpapers were drawing comparisons between him and Huey Long of Lousiana.

Indeed he and others of the PPFS appealed to the Average Joe and relied on their alliances with the Republican Democrats and the National Federals to win them the upper echelons of society. The PPFS promised to make more jobs, you know your typical populist rhetoric. But they also mixed in some ultra-nationalist beleifs that have been seen in the USA and Scotland. This ultra-Nationalist promises swayed many into their fold as they began to see the USCA's potential to not just be a slumbering economic junction.

So as Juan Antonio entered office, he began a new era for the USCA, an era of Prosperity and Power!

Within 5 Months of his Presidency, Juan Antonio has showed showed he means buisness. His sweeping reforms in the economic sector have brought in thousands of new jobs, but his Foreign Policy is:king: getting the attention of the World. Especially the recent Antonio Doctrine

The Antonio Doctrine​

The United States of Central America hearby proclaims its Doctrine in matters of Foreign Policy.

1: European countries cannot colonize in the Americas:Central or South, and shall not hold colonies in such. These America's are civilized enough now that European Dominance is no longer needed and is unwanted by its peoples.

2:The U.S.C.A will only be involved in European affairs if America's rights are disturbed.

3:The U.S. will consider any attempt at colonization or attempts to keep colonies and influence a threat to its national security.​

This of course caused ripples with the English, but was met with enthuasism by the USCA people.... Turn to A12 for more

WORLD EVENTS

USCA ELECTION. San Salvador, USCA. The polls are in and the fascist Federales Socialista party have gained power. Foreign observers from the English Empire compare the new government to similar actions in Scotland and the USA. Many concerned community leaders from the democratic nations of the world have express worries that the USCA may emulate the aforesaid nations. The Antonio Doctrine has ominous bearings upon Spanish and English business interests in the Caribbean.

ALLIANCE IN NORTH AMERICA. Boston, New England. Representatives from Canada, New England, and the Confederate States of America have proclaimed an alliance of their nations known as the Free American Alliance. Government controlled press in the USA have denounced the actions of these nations and have infuriated the public against such a conspiracy against the United States.

sorry about all the nitpicking of your rules. but the double amount of current ic needed is kinda harsh. Since you're only making 1 more ic per turn it'll take 4X amount of turns(x being the starting ic. 2->3 takes 8 turns. 5->6 takes 40 turns etc) until you've made back that much money.

So say I make 4 per turn. It'll take two turns to get to +5. So lets start from 2 turns. The +5 now starts at -8(since you had to spend that to get to 5. Basically wasting money that could be used on say infantry) while the +4 starts at 8(your net gain regardless if you spent it on something else since you werent 'wasting' it).

Basically the rules are there to stop massive and unrealistic industry growth, while letting people have something else to use money on. I would have cut out economic expansion altogether as a player controlled thing, but i decided not to.
