WAR BREAKS OUT IN THE CARIBBEAN. A massive armada of English, French, and Dutch ships have steamed towards USCA possessions, and numerous battles have broken out in the wake of this massive assault. The allied European powers state that this is due to the improper acquisition of Peurto Rico and the Galapagos by the USCA as well as the offensive Antonio Doctrine declared by the country's new Fascist leadership. The forces sent by Europe are nearly five times the size of the USCA's entire navy and army. Rumors of Haitian and Venezuelan submarines acting against European supply lines have as yet not been confirmed. Dissent has increased in England, the Netherlands, and France over the start of this war as antiwar activists rally against the conflict. (+5% Dissent for all except USCA)

This city is one of many assaulted by the Dutch navy, and fires set inside the cities by the Dutch raids and heavy artillery have caused heavy damage to trade and port facilities. Merchants in these nations have been outraged by the Dutch attacks and were also angered by the lack of USCA military protection.

Some smaller ships did manage to escape into friendly ports in Colombia, though these were in the minority. Some English ships were sunk, including the aging battleship, the HMS Prince of Wales. As a note, you do not have to order research, merely bank your IC and spend it on research when you have the full amount ready. This is for two reasons:
1. it is easier for me this way
2. this way other nations don't know what you're going for.
Another note, you don't need to spend IC to launch covert operations. Y'know who you are. IC spent this last turn has been banked like IC from tech research.
