In light of the recent comic finally showing King of Awesome Lightning Lynx again, I changed my avatar.

After having his rear end handed to him in a duel with Sonic, he is banished - for the second time - by his clan leader. Naturally, he begs her for mercy, also letting it slip that he loves her. She, being a cold, heartless you-know-what, banishes him anyway. Lightning eventually unites with his old teammates and plots vengeance upon his entire clan.

I'll probably keep switching various shots of Lightning, since he has a wide range of emotions in this issue for once - even angry tears.

So yes, it was him. Mind Over Mutant makes liberal use of varying Crash designs in each cutscene.

On the subject of avatars, I am obviously going to lobby for something furry, for I am a member of the Furry Lobby.

I must have a thing for action girls. I have had non-Metroid related themes, for a time I had Motoko Kusanagi, then Faye Valentine (cowboy bebop), then Alyx Vance . I guess the damsel in distress has gotten old on me really fast. Especially when the little mushroom dude keeps telling you that "our princess is in another castle" .

Well, this is when you need to EAT the mushroom dude. If you're lucky, you'll be able to get so high off of him you'll be able to hear red and taste happiness. Above all, however, it finally gives you sadistic pleasure after all those years of hearing his same damned line every same damned game.
