My new avatar and title ("The War, On Television") refer to the media insanity regarding, well, just about everything buzzy these days. The war is on television to a huge degree, and it's "happening", yet the deadliest attack since the beginning of the war gets a quarter of a column on page 17, and good news gets, well, nothing.
