In this world, Judaism split into two branches, Yehudaism, which is the predominant religion in the empire in the Middle East, and Orthodox Judaism, which is what Axum practices. Yehuaism is radical and very expantionistic, but Orthodox Judaism is more like the relgion was in OTL. However, all the truely Jewish countries are taken now, unfortunately. Malagasya, which has a moderately-sized Orthodox Jewish minority, is the most Jewish country left untaken.
