To the Unholy Celtic Empire
From the Kingdom of Greater Svearland

If you do not see your own follies that have caused this, do not think we will point them out to you. We see no further point to discussing this matter with you. If you decide to take military action we will be ready, otherwise good day to you sir.

FROM: The Holy Celtic Empire
TO: The Mad King of Svearland

You do not believe that the burden of proof lies with the attempted schismatic? Or is it just that your position is so completely indefensible that you cannot even make the attempt? Or perhaps you lack the wit to make the attempt? Which is it, oh redeemer of man?

To the Unholy Celtic Empire
From the Kingdom of Greater Svearland

We have shown you proof, and we have seen what the Vicar or the High Priests of whatever you want to call the head of your Celtic Church pruports to be truth as nothing but man's dogma that obscures the Trinity's true message to all of mankind. Then again we are not surprised and remind ourselves that noone is more indocrintated in falsehood than the indoctrinator himself. Once again we see no further point to discussing this with you as you will not realise the error of your ways. If you wish to use military force, you will not find us easy to conquer or to subjugate. If you wish to remain at peace we welcome that, but your continued adherence to untruth is distressing. You are no more the protector of the Trinity and Trinitism than the old man down the street, as only our belief in the truth that the Trinity gives us and not the warped version that the Vicar spews forth is all the protection that Trinitists everywhere need.

Proof? We have seen nothing but the deranged rantings of a lunatic. We ask again, how can you be so certain that our church is wrong, when you know nothing about it? Ah, but you must not let such trifling things as 'facts' get in the way of your political agenda.

The proof is that they excommunicated the King, a holy man, whose devotion to the Trinity knows no bounds for merely questioning the Unholy Celtic Empire's unworthy status as 'Protector'. Noone but the Trinity itself has the right to excommunicate anyone and we see this move by the Church and the attacks from the Unholy Celtic Empire as nothing but political attempts to expand their own power under the guise of relgion, when all they teach is nothing but lies, and propganda that they then use for their own purposes.

yeah, I was just thinking that myself.

can i change religion by writing a story?

Maybe if you had a project ie; Tower of Confucis Spreads Confucism

perhaps.... i just dont have the needed funds to build it at the moment.

Your government can change religion, yes, but there may be consequences. A story will probably gain you at least some converts and make it more acceptable to the people.

I suppose that would the consequences would depend on my story... like, lets say a great Man was to go through the land preaching, making followers... the religion would be popular and the consequneces would be minimum, no?

Changing the religion of a large population in the time frame of this NES would be a slow process of scores if not hundreds of years. The larger the population the slower the pace. To speed it up you would have to coerce the people to change through threats of violence making them not like your government or leadership. Then as part of the population believed on thing and the rest something different, trouble would break out between the groups: religious wars.

Why do you want to change religions?

Why do you want to change religions?

Because I realize that having a unique religion can give things to the holder...

If my people adore the religion but an enemy doesn't, I have reasons to go to war... Religion can be great for the culture... Lots of factors

BTM, Id just stay with current religion if I was you, but its your decision.

Possibly a good idea... Though I think that doing it in awhile would be a good idea while my empire is small...

But I suppose with the fact that I have future plans I will hold off.
