As for an estimated release date... it all depends on how long Sons of Heaven takes before it implodes. But hey, reservations are welcome, everyone. (Though please VM/PM them to avoid spamming this thread)

Right now just need name, color and starting region. Capital if you feel like it; still working out capital mechanics and I'll let everyone move their capital wherever before the game actually kicks off.

Also in discussions of having an NPC GM so as to give the minor powers more dynamic personalities.

I want to play IOT, but I'm always overwhelmed by the absurd complexity of the games. Can someone just host a game that is relatively simple, instead of all of these ridiculously complex monstrosities?

In regards to the complex ones, sometimes you just need to jump in and try and get the hang of it as you go. You may not be too successful at first but you will get the hang of it.

IB3 is simple enough. There might still be some space in that one.

Thorvald usually hosts the most simple IOTs. His have changed very little from the first game. Hell, they're even in the same series.

Anyway, how is christos' IOT too complex? All you do is build squads and farms. None of the other units are worth anything, and farms made factories obsolete. But, if you insist, I'll host IOT [whatever number we're at now]. That should do it.
