IOT Developmental Thread

That's confusing...

On a more serious note, looks interesting!

I'm really handsome, if that's what you're talking about.

Now when I skim through pages where Double A and RS have posted I get confused about who is posting...

OK, Aftermath crowd, I have a question for you.

What happened?

We started that game at full throttle, and then around the beginning of July activity abruptly dropped off. I know a lot of you are still following, and just don't have much to say, so what can I do to inspire you? Updates have been sluggish since I've been waiting for things to pick up, but should I instead resume a steady pace in the hope it'll pull people along?

I'll certainly carry on for as long as there's interest. Thus far it's been easier to manage than IOTIV and I can probably keep running this into the fall; but I was certain Tani would be at war with someone by now.

I got bored with it.

And, uh, might as well post the same question to my IOTers. Is it perhaps too simple to bring interest? Is it boring? Have outside events conspired to bring it down?

Honestly, CFC seems a lot less crowded nowadays as it used to be. I have no clue why this seems this way, but has anybody else noticed a decline in activity on the site in general?

On a different track, I think someone should start developing the next chronological IOT (IOT VII). I have too little time to do this, but I could help develop it.

I'm not noticing much of a CFC wide thing. Perhaps it was a result of moving to a separate subforum and so not having access to all the people who regularly visit Forum Games?

That might be it.
Perhaps, if someone created a thread on FG that basically links people to Mafia/NOTW/IOTs on these newer forums, we might get more activity.

There's just not a lot to do as Kashmir. It's a relatively small, trading nation, isolated from most of the world. Lack of activity encourages lack of activity; I pay more attention to the (more active) IOTIB and DYOS, and since uni started a few weeks ago I have to prioritise.

The way I see it, Aftermath is less of a game than a Write Your Own Story. I do have a story idea in mind with regards to Kashmir, but I feel I still need to smooth it out a little.

This. Though I'm actually in favour of a separate Forum Games forum (rather than being a subforum of Other Games) with Mafia and IOT as subforums in Forum Game.
