Truly. Furthermore, we ran through the scenarios first this time. The idea that Australia would send massive amounts of spies after us didn't set right with us. It almost seemed too good to be true. So, we went through, bit by bit, to figure out how much over the last three years is unaccounted for in national treasuries. Venezuela and Iberia had the largest amounts unaccounted for.

This makes sense. Iberia, after all, borders France, which oddly went into rebellion the very same turn the entire Iberian treasury for the turn became unaccounted for....

Furthermore, we have doubts that Venezuela would be behind the action. This leads us to the conclusion that Iberia instigated a pro-Australian uprising in the Philippines, which fits with their mode of operation of inciting revolts (such as in France). COULD Venezuela do it? Yes, easily. Did they? They have the means, but lack motif. Iberia has both means and motivation.

Denian ships in New Spain ports shall conform to the laws of New Spain. If high officers or commanders of ships shall break and such laws, it will lead to the ports being closed. Should inferior persons break them, they are to be delivered over to the commanders of their ships for punishment.

2nd
This Convention shall be ratified, and the ratifications shall be exchanged at the New Spain capital on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen of the Dene, and on behalf of the New Spain government, within twelve months from the present date.

Also the Emperor refuses from now any peace treaty with the Irons and declares the Irons are a ''Cancer that will kill the world if we do not destroy it''.

The invasion was regrettable, but necessary. The agreement was created under the premise that China would be a dominant power on the continent and would be able to shift its weight accordingly.

However, China's economy last year was as weak as the Australian economy. The difference was that Australia was blockaded, China was not. Furthermore, the fact that the Iron Islands, a maritime Pacific power, was able to take damn near all of China with no resistance points to the Chinese Empire not meeting its obligations of a military treaty.

Why would the Iron Islands ally with a power barely able to stand on two legs? On the basis that China was not fulfilling its obligations of the military alliance, we felt that if someone (and anyone could) should dismantle China, it should be the Iron Islands.

If Hindustan wishes to get in on the action, by all means, do. With the imperial Chinese gone, the NAP between Australia and the Iron Islands (and hopefully Dene, should they accept), and the friendship between Hindustan and the Iron Islands, the Pacific will know peace beginning next year.

The Chinese Empire has repeatedly referred to the people of Hindustan as "Indian Barbarians". When the Cape Empire sent a copy of the Republic as a token of good will and a gift to the Chinese Emperor, he burnt it. China has a history of dehumanizing its enemies. This outburst is just the outburst of a defeated Emperor searching for defenseless "enemies" to terrorize and kill.

The Iron Islands agrees with Italy's sentiment. We demand 3 IP compensation for their very clear actions in instigating the revolt in the Philippines. At any other point of history, sponsoring rebellion would be considered a flagrant act of war.

On full consideration of the facts presented by the Iron Islands the Celtic Union also demands 3IP in resitution for acts taken against our territorial integrity.

We accept the offer of a NAP with the Iron Islands and offer trade to the Kingdom of New Spain and offer a NAP to the Merchant Republic.

Boycott the Naked Aggression!

Her most august majesty, Salvbara queen of the Dene, is most displeased over the situation in the Pacific Ocean.
The blatant unprovoked aggression by the Iron Islands on a peaceful neighbor is uncalled for.
She believes that she is not alone in her displeasure, and that many other nations do not view the actions there with equanimity.

Once again, she would be most appreciative of other nations joining her in an economic boycott of the Iron Islands.
Until the Iron Islands stops the war with China and restores the captured territory to the original owner, Dene withdraws from trading with the Iron Islands.
During the interim, her majesty instructs her ministers to pursue every means, diplomatic, economic, and political towards quickly restoring normalcy to the region in conflict.

OOC: To the GM,
I will submit orders to this effect if the situation doesn’t resolve itself by the deadline for this turn.
Looks like the Iron Islands have no truck with peaceful expansion, more is the pity.

Looking back on the past year, I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I am outraged at the Spanish for defying our national sovereignty, and inciting troop desertion. We have already demanded recompense, and any lack of payment will be considered and act of war. We will not hesitate on this claim.

I am also saddened to see our soldiers being defeated in Central Europe. On this note, we wish to assure our population that overwhelming force will be brought to bear on the rebels in Central Europe.

On the other hand, we have the prolific expansion of our economy, and I applaud the efforts of our engineers for that. We look forward to progress in the future.
