-Iron Islands invasion of China!
The Iron Islands have swept in by sea and seized China, Yunnan and Manchuria. This is a warning to all nations - keep some troops in a defensive reserve, always. As it is, the Chinese army is off fighting in Sinkiang at the time.
The good news for China is that their army seized Sinkiang without anything remotely resembling a fight. The bad news is that now they have no ports, and thus no trade income, and are up against a powerful, industrialized nation. Can the Chinese rally?
The Iberians take Cuba without a fuss, losing only a few men - not nearly enough to wipe out a regiment. How will the American powers react to a European power claiming a foothold so near to them?
A massive rebellion sweeps through the Philippines, seemingly out of nowhere. Five entire regiments of Irregulars are formed from the mists, descending on the two garrisoned Iron Islands defensive regiments of the same quality with fervor. The Iron Islands governor-general shows his true colors and retreats from the islands without firing a shot, allowing the Philippines to declare independence as an NPC nation, but preserving his command intact. The new Republic of the Philippines
Requests Protectorate Status from the Australian Empire.
An Italian Regular Unit disbands seemingly out of nowhere, on the eve of an assault into Austria and Alsace-Lorraine. Foreign meddling is suspected.
The Cape Republic assaults Amazonas successfully, but partisans in the jungle wipe out a regiment of Irregulars. Regardless, the territory is secured.
Italia, by contrast, does not have a good day. An entire regiment of Regulars faces them in Alsace-Lorraine, and the Italians are unable to break the firm Alsatian defenders, who destroy an entire Irregular regiment before the Italians can withdraw, broken, into the Alps. Many humiliating insults are sent southward on their heels. In Austria, more Regulars oppose them, and with the loss of a Regular unit to desertion the Italians have only a regiment of Irregulars. There were no Italian survivors save the POWs.
The Celtic Union sweeps over English Regulars without any difficulty, and the same with the unit of Regulars in Eastern Siberia. Hindustan completely wipes the floor with the Kazakhstani defenders it faces. New Wales storms the Midwest and the Bahamas without any trouble, two Irregulars being no match for their disciplined Regulars.
The Great Plains, on the other hand? 3 Irregulars don't defeat the New Welsh Regulars.
They utterly annihilate them. Don't mess with the Lakota.
The Kingdom of Keme sweeps over Libya and Syria, but the Ethiopian rebels manage, somehow, to stop the Kingdom's offensive, though they don't destroy any units. Keme now stands as the dominant power in Africa.
Dixie sweeps over Texas with two units of Regulars, but then seems to settle. The nation clearly has no further territorial ambitions. South African Regulars are repulsed in Mozambique, stalling the nation's desires for territorial conquest.
As always, any errors should be pointed out to me.
