We officially: Cut diplomatic ties with the Northern Watch. All diplomatic agreements with the nation are null and void, including the Non Agression Pact agreed to earlier. Trade is severed with the Northern Watch. Citizens of the Watch are being deported from the United Commonwealth and Citizens of the Commonwealth are being recalled. If Northern Military is found in the Commonwealth (which includes Java), this will be considered an act of war.

On a similar note, we are officially making the Conference Group (Recommended Reading Order: Ceasefire, Claims, Compromise) open to the public.

The Watch citizens are being deported along with Turan citizens are being asked to return to Turan.

The Ulyanovsk Coalition is an Alliance Between the United Commonwealth, the Second Socialist State of Lenin, the People's Union of Poland and the Great Turan. We hope that this alliance will help prevent wars in the Asian Region.

We welcome this defensive alliance to the world stage. It has our trusted friend the Great Turan as one of its members and is based on peace not war. Thus we feel that Asia will be a safer place for all of its members. Based on the current events we do have individual messages for each member along with apologises for the aggression of our Brother in arms the Northern Watch.

I write this personal note in hopes that you will not hold the breakdown against myself or my nation. When we pointed you towards the Northern Watch and took our break for the weekend we assumed things would progress fine. If Russia has stopped stating that it owns your land and you believe you can coexist in peace then you have our best well wishes. Any aid you require from us will be supplied and we hope our own trade and defensive agreements will not suffer because of these events.

We thank you for making these events public as it helped bring them to our personal attention. We are sorry you feel you can no longer trust the Northern Watch in a NAP and appreciate your attempts at working out a compromise. The Map you drew up has just been shown to me by an aid and it looks feasible enough as a first attempt. But we know that The Northern Watch does not abide giving away territory for nothing. In fact I know personally that the Leader dislikes giving any territory up at all. As he has said before any offers take land away from The Northern Watch that end with "Do this or War." can only be seen as bullying.

I will start my own talks with the leader of the Northern Watch personally to see what territories in Russia might be sold. Hopefully Russia will be open to buying the provinces because I do not see them being gifted. However I disagree with the attempts to include Taiwan in the compromise and believe it to be a totally different issue. The ULYANOVSK COALITION arose because of disputes in Russia. China merely aggravated the situation both over Taiwan and by egging Russia on in its initial Aggressive stance. They have also not just threatened war, but NUCLEAR war over a single province out at sea. On a island that they can not even travel to as China does not have a single boat to its name.

Note that after you invited China to the conference this was their attempt at being peaceful;

Taiwan offers 16 IP to Watch or we are going nuclear kamikazi. Chose. We cannot win, but the damage done will eb so huge that it will take ages to recover your economy. So either give me Taiwan for 16 IP or I give you death.

To be fair, the Northern Watch was going to get 16 IPs for the three provinces. Although we agree with hindsight that it was probably a bad idea to include Taiwan in the proceedings, I believe that the Watch and China have come to their own compromise in that area.

To clarify, we are willing to give the Northern Watch monetary compensation for Siberia (and possibly Karelia). We will happily restart negotiations if the Watch is willing to restart negotiations down these lines.

Today is 29th August. In a day like this in 1949, Chiang Kai Shek proclaimed the Republic of China after defeating Mao. The Nationalist Army unified China and ended the era of the Warlords. Now we celebrate this national holiday with the Parade of the Republican Army of China. New Five Years Economic Porgram​

This program includes the selling of Government owned Industries, the development of the new Territories and the construction of a fleet, as well as increase in Trade.
