I have trouble believing that any man would choose to be gay were they given the choice. Women, on the other hand, I understand.

I don't really think it's a choice. To assume it's a choice is to say that I, a self-proclaimed heterosexual sex god

Definition of gay is to be turned on by your own sex. You can't out of a sudden decide that thing. Pretending to be gay is a whole other thing, and that does not make you gay.

Long ago, in another thread about this same topic, I discussed the successful brainwashing of American POWs during WW2 by the Japanese. It clearly shows that allegiances can be changed. Brainwashing can also successfully change the sexuality of a person. And brainwashing is just "environmental factors" in my opinion.
I have not tried to change my gender that I'm attracted to. I haven't been interested.
"Choice" is an incredibly poor word for this discussion. "Learned" is better. In other words, environmental factors play a part in all of this.

I'm genetically wired not to find penises attractive. I only love one - mine. All others are disguisting.
How would I ever overcome this? Sure, somebody could hypnotize me to find other penises awesome, for a while, but how would you make me love them all the time?
