It's weird. I think we had TWICE as many people visit Off-Topic before the war. Now we have about 12 visitors at one time at the most. :(

The war turned people off; the endless bleating of the same reactionary (left and right) positions with little effort to think, listen or adjust was just tiresome.

At least, that's how it was for me.

Now, I can participate in bash-canada threads to my heart's content. It's different. :D

I think we just had a thread about this. Anyway, I think the answer is "yes". I dont care to explain myself, right now.

It is the problem that when people make serious political views however passionately held and however reasonable they think they are then there will be others who are offended. The result is forums degenerate into warfare. It is why I hardly ever comment on political issues.

The solution, though, is not to run away and just surround yourself with people who think, speak and act like you. That is just mental inbreeding.

I doubt it is. I don't really remember many more people being here. Also, many members are aged 16-18, and this is the time of the final exams for us. I just never study for exams :D
And even if the war has turned off some, there are still many who come to war threads and many who come for the other threads who are still discussed about. And new members will come again. I think that as long as the forum is working the OT will be working as well.

yes its on life support right now, i find myself visiting CFC maybe 20 minutes a day nowadays, but i think thats just because life has me busy

Just had one of these Pug, and I didn't like what it said, or what it made me say.

I have not enjoyed it for quite some time, but I think it's time I cleaned it up, it's far to trollish, and that will stop.
