The use of nuclear weapons seems to be the only responsible choice left for this troubled region. We need to use it first on terrorist held region after which we would need to announce to the world that should Islamic Terrorism continue we will use more nuclear weapons in an ever increasing volume across the Middle East. Eventually victory would be assured and we would be able to put the Middle East problem to bed.
The worst move that could ever be done is to turn nuclear weapons into a weapon of conventional warfare. Only a fool would welcome the doomsday with such open arms.
Islamic Terrorism has to be stopped and clearly every other measure we have attempted hasn't worked. The populace in these country's support to some degree the terrorists, thus they are all legitimate targets of war. We should simply place the area under quarantine and then start a bombing campaign the likes of which have never been seen. It will end all the problems in the Middle East.
even by the standard legal definition within the UN Charter and its various resoultions, Iraqi Freedom was entirely legal.
There were serious legal questions surrounding the launching of the war against Iraq and the Bush Doctrine of preemptive war in general. On 16 September 2004, Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the United Nations, said of the invasion, "I have indicated it was not in conformity with the UN Charter. From our point of view, from the Charter point of view, it was illegal."
It would also end the "power" of the US once and for all, don't you think? Realistically?
I, for one, wouldn't speak to any Americans ever again.

This here is exactly the line of reasoning that leads to suicide bombing of civilian targets: the 'civilians' are complicit therefore they are a legitimate target. You really should stop and think about that.
Either that or you're trolling.
The US has seen time and time again that the civilians in these areas are complicit with the actions of terrorists thus they are legal combatants. We shouldn't have to waste American blood on the Middle East anymore thus in order to achieve our goals for the region we must ensure the populace complies.
How many americans has ISIS killed exactly?
A rather low number between 10-20 of what has shown on the News. I am not speaking solely of ISIS however, I am speaking of the larger problem, Islamic Terrorism as whole, the overwhelming instability in the region, lack of confidence in Western access to resources. All of these problems need to be corrected, and would be quite effectively by the use of the nuclear bombing campaign.
Nuking the oilfields would make them more accessible? Oh my. This is better than any comedy on the telly.
Oh well ok, how many americans has islamic terrorism killed in the past 10 years? If its a problem is bad enough for nuclear bombs surely its at least a few million people right?
