It was built after david's death.

And - Kotel is not a UB.
The Kotel is part of the ruins of the Great Temple.
If we already have the Temple of Solomon as a religous wonder, it doesn't make sense to include the Kotel as well, especially not as a UB. There has been only 1 Kotel.
The Hebrew UB should be a High Place. These were cultural and religous centres in ancient Cnaan, which were built in every city or a village.
It replaces monuments. Because building monuments was forbidden in ancient Israel.

And I recommand you change Solomon to Philosophical and Industrious.
He built the Great Temple, and started many other great and important building projects.
David should be Imperialistic and Financial. His was a great conqueror.

Firaxis has several other landmark UUs: The Cothon, the Hippodrome, and the Shale Plant.

I could also change the Kotel to the Beth Din or the Bet Cholim. I could change David's background if I find one. The trait ideas are sound, but Phi/Ind has been shown to be overpowered, and I believe Solomon has a builder personality. Industrious makes wonders built faster, Philosophical makes more great people, Solomon has a builder personality, all together would make Solomonid Israel a very dangerous enemy.

In addition, my IIW War Mod has the Shrine of the Book that houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. There's also the Bahai Shrine in Haifa in there too.

These aren't unique Israeli buldings.
The High Place (Bama) is the best choice for an Israeli UB, but if you can't find a suitable art (looks like that http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeevveez/4019087396/), you can try a modern UB.
You can make Mamad a replacement for Bunkers. In every modern building or a house in Israel there are semi bunkers within every apartment, to protect from missiles. They are called Mamad.

You can also just switch the backgrounds of Solomon and David.
David used to live in a magnificent palace, and Solomon is known for building the Temple.

And you can make Solomon Phi/Fin.
It fits him well too.

im half israeli half armenian and ive been waiting for our nations to join this game
i think both are deserving in terms of being ancient and having an impact

criticism: 1. i think israel should not be defined by a bunker
we gave too much to the world for this recent small thing to define us
id prefer some sort of temple upgrade or an art or entertainment building

2. kotel cannot be in every city. maybe there is an appropriate national wonder that can be upgraded to a kotel for this civ

its like turning every library in an armenian civilization into matenadaran

positive feedback: 1. i loved the skins
you captured an israeli officer uniform very well

2. theocracy is indeed quite appropriate

3. the leaderheads are great (and appropriate)

4. using ottoman units or crusader units (or even i noticed somewhere you said palestinian units) is a good idea imo. i think its better than giving us generic units for most of the game
and it pays a tribute to history

I offered the idea of Bama as a replacement for Monument (like in History Rewritten mod).
But if they can't find a suitable art, then Mamad is the 2nd best choice.

Placed it in the custom civs folder, and when I go into the game, Israel is an option for a civ, but if I click on it the game crashes. Anyone else experience this problem?

Israel Reuploaded + updated

1. Merkhav Mugan changed. It's still a bunker, but now comes at Electricity like normal bunkers. It now gives +15% food storage to the city upon growth, which stacks with Granaries..
2. Replaced default Middle-Eastern Archer graphics with Bakuel's Hebrew Archer graphics, for more uniformity in the Ancient age.
3. Added Arabian Explorer graphics.
4. Added Supermarine Spitfire IX graphics for the Fighter, from Realism Invictus.
5. Added Israeli B-24 Liberator graphics for the Bomber, from Realism Invictus.
6. Add IDF Anti-Tank graphics for the Anti-Tank Infantry, from the Iran-Iraq War scenario
7. Added M4 Sherman graphics for the Tank, from Snafusmith's BTS Tank pack.
8. Added late-game Middle Eastern settler graphics, shared with Seleucia.
