I find the traits to be an interesting choice

I never thought of Israel producing alot of scientific contributions.

I had thought that Religeous, Industrious seemed to be fitting

If you go by the Old Testament of the Bible (which, BTW, I would consider the parts about what Israel did to be history), they could be considered Religeous, Militaristic (because of their wars against the Phillistines).

Leaderheads by any chance soon?

Not up to me. GhenghisFarb is on that, I believe.
Takes time though.

I can't wait to dig into this mod! A great idea. Does the Merk. unit still cause crashes? I look forward to visiting Israel in the future (when I have saved money! Might not be so for a LONG while!)

Just a thought, shouldn't the Israeli's be religous/militaristic to make it more realistic? or expansionist?

EDIT: wee mistake

leaderheads? well..i recently post an static leaderhead of yitzkah rabin....

Yes. I am no longer able to fund the server the file was on and the company (nexpoint.net) closed access to it.
Sorry, I'll come up with a solution soon.

Point C: Last time I checked, Jewish people were still Arab, unless they have some sort of strange blood line thingy or whatever that proves they didn't come from Assyria or whatever.

The jewish people aren't arab. Check again. :D

POINT C: Israel is a powerful enough civ to be in Civilizaiton III. For example, Israel's Merkavah 3 is one of the most powerfulest tanks in the world. another example is that the IDF(Israeli Defense Force) is one of the top army's in the world and consists of some of the most trained troops. one more example is that Israel has more technology than most of the rest of the world(ex. ICQ, genetically removing feathers from chickens, etc...)

So now you are probally thinking,"Hey, Israel is pretty POWERFUL and could compete with other civs in Civlization III. How Rude and dumb was I to say that Israel is not a powerful enough civilization to be in Civ III. Didn't a moderator say that nationality bashing was strictly against the rules in the civfanatic forums. I guess i did do some nationality bashing when i said israel is not powerful enough to get its own civ in Civ III, and i am sorry to any israeli or zionist who thought it predujice."

So there you go. and have a good life.

Almost all of their military technology was either given to them by western countries or is currently being subsidized by them.

Go read up on the LAVI and J-10.

Point D: I know Israel is a very influential civ, even in the modern world, becuase three very prominent world religions came from it, but Israel is not poweful enough to get its own civ in the best game of all time (Civ III of course)

Not powerful enough?? They are the most powerful nation in the Middle East! Though, when was the Aztecs called powerful and thier in the first version of the game?!?! And why where they in the game, becuase they are one of the most culturous and infuential ancient civilization of all time, not because they were powerfull. The Spanish took them over in probably one day! Just my point of view :).

BTW, I love your mod! I was waiting for something like this!

That's untrue.
The only technologies Israel has been given are those who could compete US Arm sales.
Each time Israel needed a new technology or weapon, they first came to the US of course, instead of developing, because it's cheap. During the 60's and the 70's the US declined because they didn't want to upset the Russians and the Arabs too much, so Israel started developing weapons on it's own. The US saw Israel is capable of developing advanced weapons, and it was afraid Israel's weapon exports will compete the American market, so they sell Israel weapons.
In most cases that is correct, almost every weapon Israel develops outplays any other similiar weapon in the market. The Air2Air missiles like the Python4 and Derby are the most advanced of their kind. The aviation technologies implemented on the Israeli modified F-15 (F-15I) and F-16 (F-16I) are more advanced than the Korean or American counterparts.
The Israeli Tank Merkavah 4 has the most advanced armament system and automatic firing electronics in the world, and so on so on.
Actually Israel's biggest export after Diamonds is probably fire arms.

I said subsidized as well. Alot of the weapons currently in development in Isreal are being financed by the US.

The reason Isreal was able to make the F-15I and Merkavah 4 was because they had access to the technology used in the F-15 and M1A1.
