JalNES I: Quick and Easy

Not true. From Wikipedia:

Around the time Memphis and Itj-tawy fell to the Hyksos, the native Egyptian ruling house in Thebes declared its independence from the vassal dynasty in Itj-tawy and set itself up as the Seventeenth Dynasty. This dynasty was to prove the salvation of Egypt and would eventually lead the war of liberation that drove the Hyksos back into Asia. The two last kings of this dynasty were Tao II the Brave and Kamose, whom tradition credited with the final defeat of the Hyksos. With the Eighteenth Dynasty, the New Kingdom begins.

Anyway, My population stat should drop big time as I just lost my most populated areas... and Commiucation with Cyrene should nearly break... Same with rest of the north.

And I guess I need to grow only chariots cause their already like 4-worth of eco spend on chariots over me... Will take time...

And I just saw, write a speech? I don't write speeches, I'm not a story writer.

You can assume that communication is almost impossible.

Assume most of your population fled south. Your size stat is intact, but will probably drop next turn. For the moment, however, you still have that size, so you can recruit chariots at double the amount! That and good tactics should see you through this.

EDIT: You don't have to write a speech. It would help confidence, however...

Heheh, I did a little dance after reading my section of the update. Sorry for the longish orders, but I think it was worth it.

So the number of units I train is multiplied by my size stat? So 1000 Axemen trained by a size 2 nation will be 2000?

Yes. This is true for the army, but not the navy. The downside, of course, is that the number of spending points required to increase Infrastructure, Education, etc. is also multiplied by the size stat.

Doesn't Das use the size stat in his NESes?

Shouldn't you people be used to it, then?

das does use a size stat.

From: The Hedjaz
To: Magan

Help? How exactly? We are affected by this just as you are.

From: The Hedjaz
To: ALL COUNTRIES

We claim the land of the Arabian Desert, as we are pouring soldiers into clearing the lands for safe passage.

@jalapeno dude, so...some of that land I cleared...I can claim it and take it this turn right? I was hoping to expand into it, but perhaps I didnt specify it.

To Berbers
From Carthage

One day,oh one day you will fall.

ooc: How did barbarians manage to get passed my extra forces inside the city. They aren't as advanced.Somehow I don't understand how my troops couldn't march onto them with force and destroy them.I smell a conspiracy!

It was assumed that it would only include males :p

to Carthage:
Although contact between us will be extemly hard to maintain we hope that between the city of Cyrene and Carthage normal trade could continue until we can reconnect our empire.

to Hedjaz:
Mind help us?

From: Hedjaz
To: Egypt

Once again...how do you propose we do this? What exactly do you want us to do?

From Prussia
To Eastern Germanic Tribes

We purpose you unite with Prussia so we can dominate, conquer and loot the German tirbes to the east. We will offer all former cheiftens nobility amd the right to govern their lands. Please accept and we will begin building an Empire of the Baltic.

From: The Hedjaz
To: Magan

Yes, but you are so much richer than us...

@Azale. Yes, you can. No, you didn't. :p

From: Berbers
To: Carthage

Yeah right.

@Luckymoose: You only left 1/7 of your force to protect your lands. That's not enough. You're not really much more advanced than the Berbers, actually. I gave you a hit in a previous update what worked well, and you chose to ignore it completely. Your loss. :p

@alex: Specify! Does that include babies? Old, senile, men? Say exactly what you want in your orders. Otherwise I'll get tempted, like now...

@The Farow: The northern two tribes agree.

to Hedjaz:
Again? What do you mean? And we may need some miliatery support so our economies could ones again expand...
