JalNES I: Quick and Easy

Oh, i thought i remembered seeing that somebody had posted all their stats and was told to cut down a little on them. Anyway, i may as well post what i intend to do. I have a backup plan in case Prussia takes over too much of Sweden, but:

Name: Swede Confederation
Capital: Stockholm

Religion (cut down version): Believes every tribe has it's own pantheon that really exists. It's not clear to anybody if they are equal or inferior to the Swede pantheon. There is a doctrine pantheons can submit to minor status in other pantheons (associated with conquest), and a doctrine of every plant, animal, and human being (and concept) having a personal god.

Background: Once JD gives me a length, will do full version.

To sum up, the massacre of the Swissia tribe by the Odent led to a lone protestor joining another tribe and organizing an anti-Odent coalition. The result was the Swiss Confederation. After thousands of years of intrigue, the development of a state religion, the rise and fall of several factions, and two outlawed heresies (unfortunately, one has the support of most city people and the other of most country people), the Confederation is now in practice a centralized Kingdom (if not in theory) under a dynastic union of the two major factions, the Snipes (short for Sniper- assassins, basically) and the Warriors. They finally are able to look out on the world and expand. The other factions don't like it but can't do anything about it.

now working on the Eirehann-Tartessos war. Let's just say  and stick with that...

I hate my life. I more than doubled their forces and got iron. I've had more troubles with NPCs than Iggy had with Andis...

Okay, maybe that's a *slight* exaggeration... but jeez, you're turning me silver here to relieve my frustrations :p

I'll just sit back and foolishly hope that the "" comes from me burning down their entire civilization. And hope that my troubles really are NPC and not, oh, say, Alex :p

EDIT: As for the copious amounts of double posting so far - I believe you can get in trouble for that. In the future, just edit your post if you need to say something else (like this). If you double post, don't post again, just edit the second post and put your apologies in that edit for the double post. Just trying to save you some trouble in the future :)

One of these two statements is wrong...

@Neverwonagame2: please pick your starting army, using the template on post 8.

how is it progressing? the update I mean?
Fine. I'm probably 1/4 to 1/3 done... :(

5/13 orders done. Moving on to Prussia and Novgorod.

My unique unit will be a Galley with Greek Fire, of which i will have 10. For convienience, they will be called Fire Galleys.

If the amount spent on the army is set (or if it simply wastes E.P to have less then max), i will spend that amount. Otherwise, 1 E.P for the 10 Fire Galleys, and 1 more for a force half-archer, quarter-axeman, quarter-spearman.

EDIT: Do you get your unique unit at the start, or in-game? Also, don't unique units cost more? If so, i am willing to spend up to 2 E.P on 10 Fire Galleys.

You must purchase UU in game. Or you usually do. Your starting army will not be huge. But you can spend EP in your orders to do the stuff yoru wanting.

Since I nearly doubled the forces myself, that leaves me wondering about the iron.....Suffice to say, I will be quite annoyed if it doesn't come. I'd end up with around 6000 over. Unless....did Rome or someone else get involved? I hope so - then we can cut it down to two ;].

That's fine, but Fire Galleys will be 5 per EP.

And PLEASE fill out the template on post 8!!! You get 4 spending points for the army.

Well, he grumbled to me about getting iron from egypt - it almost certainly got lost in transit, even though I wrote a nice long story about my trader's trip. Oh well.

Think. Transit means through the Strait of Gibraltar. Are the Tartessans going to like that?

I'm now working on the Sumerian invasion(s). Here's an update teaser:

Update 14: Amphibious Landings

700-600 BC

Can you guess all 3 of them?

Gah. if you don't slaughter them LB, I will. Simply said no Tartessian shall live.

I SWEAR TO GOD I BETTER NOT BE RAIDED AGAIN. I will personally go to hell and back to destroy the person if they choose to raid me.

Edit to the post below:

Not to mention that I lent you the vast majority of my standing navy?

I thought I sent my ENTIRE navy to escort the iron. If I didn't, I meant to and I'm going to kill myself. No, actually, I'm going to send my entire navy, get it done right, and brutally torture every single Tartessos personally.

EDIT: @ Never - No worries, I'm pretty new myself, glad to help :)

Poor Tartessians :(. Give them some mercy... Why are you at war with them again? It has been awhile since I read the update.

My Orders said:
- 1 EP to Egypt, using our entire fleet to transport it safely there and the iron/iron working methods safely back.

Emphasis added. 19 Galleys + 50 Galleys Britannia sent vs. .... 0 galleys. I'm not happy.

EDIT: @ Farow - mainly because they caused me trouble when I wanted to annex them. The only reason I would slaughter them is if they pulled some incredibly prescient move, like the construction of a massive navy to attack my fleet carrying back my iron.
