It's getting really trendy in comments all over the internet to claim that James Eagan Holding was in OWS, but the only "evidence" I've been able to Google myself is beyond stupid.

Don't distract by complaining about the ABC Tea Party thing or other red herrings. Don't bother simply attacking the "lamestream media." Give me your strongest evidence that James Eagan Holmes was connected to Occupy Wall Street. Now is your chance!

Holmes has a "sharper" look to his face. The OWS person being arrested has a rounder face.

That's stupid. I have gotten plenty of e-mail from conservative news though the weekend and haven't heard anyone claim anything of the sort.

Who in the world are the people making these claims? From what I hear the guy was a student dropping out of med school after a great academic undergraduate who caused a national tragedy.

The only political claims I'm seeing from conservatives are "oh great now their going to use this as gun control" and "wow another episode of blame the tea party with no proof". The rest has been articles about how this is a tragic event and we need to take the time to support the victims.

EDIT: Ok I saw the other post about the congressman. I would apologize for the moronic sentiments of a person in a political party that at the time I am more in favor of than the other main option but honestly the guys a moron and I would've voted democrat to get rid of someone like that if he represented me.

I've heard he used to study biochemistry. Don't know if that gives a bad reputation to scientists in general. Also he is male.

You talking about Golmer? That's okay, I know that being right of center doesn't automatically make you somebody like him. It's refreshing to see any Republican distance themselves from that kind of rhetoric these days.

Meh one look at the comments shows that this nameless poster or Sher Zieve not sure with the set up there is in a very small minority. This happens with online news. Blogs are not a source of anything useful. This would be noteworthy if someone in the main stream level said anything.

I didn't even hear Rush Limbaugh saying anything like that and he's on the out there level of conservatives.

Not at all. It wouldn't even really prove anything about OWS.

I'm mostly angry that a few people on pretty much every political forum are parroting the "Proven!!!!1!!!1!! connection" of James Eagan Holding to OWS. So far as I can tell some Barney Fife little b@stard in Florida took a vacation from catching women screwing the milkman to attempt to assassinate OWS by insinuation.

Who is "us?" I figure at least one person on this forum must believe this to be true and I wanted some evidence. Nothing wrong with that.

1 - Even if James Holmes was in OWS, that would not discredit OWS's message or mean that somehow it is a magnet for psycopaths.

2 - Nobody here (that I know of anyway) made the claim that he was in OWS, so the thread title is confrontational in an uncalled for manner.
