BigFoot done well. That only thinn I would notice that it is better to live units unpromoted Untill actial combat. Did you nocise how far Centry promoted chariot can see? Very usefull for exploring. may be we should send it out to do some?

Next person play 10 turns +-, may be untill we get Propet(I think it will be about that time.

Most SG's are 24/48. 24 hour got it and 48 hours to post your turns. If you miss your time it's an auto skip.

So as far as I'm concerned as it's his game, he is welcome back, but it should just be an auto skip and the next up should take it. This is just to keep the game moving else when there's nothing happening you start to loose people.

Okay, I have been here the whole time but I didn't realize I was up. I am really sorry, I just wasn't thinking. I would be happy to take it if no one else has played but if someone has I will probably take the next spot. If I am playing I will play in about 10 hours.
 
Well, did my turns, a bit more then 10. Problem was I wanted to stop at Alphavit so we discuss tech trade. How to get the most our of your buck.

Everything went by plan. Build all our cities.
After Dile finished last setler configure it to 4 priests and in a few turns get GP. We finished Musticism befor that.

Exploring Chariot took some gold from hat that was visible.
Exploring Galey found Chinise and Americans on second continent. Open borders to facilitate exploration, trade and religion spread.

he offer to research 1040 beakers toward Sivil service.
I accept and swith research to civil servis (5 turns).

Finish civil service and return to Alphavit.

Alphavit finished. Here is Trade window, we need to discuss how to trade.

Research currently set to literature, as AI does not have it and I do want GL. We should get Massonry from trades.

City N4 wiped Granary/barrack and ready to start 2 pop wipe Axes.
Cipy N5 finished Granary - Barrack.

I would not advice to trade Monarchy yet, as it offer way to Pheodalism and if Masta got Long Bows our Axes would not even scratch him.

We probably need 10-12 axes ready befor attemp taking first town, depends on how many skirmisers are there.

2.5-3 times of number of skirmishers, as skirmishers incredible strong city defence.

So, what I want is every one tell me what tech every AI has based on information avalible and in which order you are gong to trade with them.
 
One more Idea, next 10 turns will be very critical, lots of dicision to make, lots of tricks to use.

What you folk think about making next 10-15 turns Concurent?
I mean that everyone try to play next 10-15 turns. Making trade, army whipping and probably start of atack dicisions. Thinking about happiness/gold/army ballance.
 
Good idea to go concurrent for the next turn set. Unfortunately, I'm having PC problems at the moment (using my iBook rt. now) and won't be able to load the game until probably Monday night. But by all means, run a concurrent turnset.

It's hard to say what trades to pursue without having the diplo screen loaded. I would guess that we might want to focus on trade with Roosevelt, since Mao and Mansa are Buddhism buddies and will probably trade techs liberally with one another. In general order of importance I would say Mathematics first, followed by Metal Casting, Masonry, Horseback Riding. If we self research Hunting, Archery should be easy to get as a throw in on some trade, or self-research also. If we get math and literature, we may have a shot at the free Great Artist from discovering Music First, which we can burn on a tech (Drama probably). Don't know how long we want to wait on currency, but it might be unlocked for trading once we get Math.
 
Concurrent sounds like a very nice idea - I'd be heavily in favour of that.
 
Playing concurrent turns sounds like a good idea. I cannot study the situation right now, but I will look it over and then try my hand tonight.
 
OK, seems everyone agreed, please, Play let say 15 turns, try to make decisions about future research after you trade, and orgonise war agains Masta. Do the best you can, give as your report and save.
Lets see how it will go. :)

4. Delhi Axe-Cat Great lighthouse BIADL Bangalore whip axe.

That is where I stopped. We have about 9 axes on the border, with three more and two cats on the way. Our science rate is diving so we need to attack soon. Mansa should also have feudalism soon. Lots of whips and i used one chop for the GL to free Delhi for more axes/cats. i focused on military buidup and I didn't think it was worht it to build another city for the iron. Axes are almost as good as swords anyway. Metal Casting comes in in 7. Here is our civ.

Please, do 15 turns everyone. That should be enogth time to see consiquences of your trades and as Minimum take one Masta city.
