So your research into Kafka now makes you a qualified practitioner on the field of psychology and psychiatry? Color me impressed.
Colour me equally impressed that you keep on trolling

Well, a symbol you don't know can easily come across as silly too. I am sure it won't take you long to google psychiatry and speech, and find info on this, cause it is a well-known view and in practice - in fact it is one of the main practices in that field. In this case, indeed, the unknown symbol is perfectly established and known elsewhere.
I'm trolling? You made this entire thread based on your supposed ability to establish someone's IQ relying on your assessment of a couple YT videos and I'm not allowed to question your expertise/credentials?Colour me equally impressed that you keep on trolling![]()
Oh you're right. The first couple of hits state that this is widely considered to be more accurate than formal IQ testing. I withdraw my objection.
Actually, darnit. The more stuff I listen to by Peterson, the better I'm liking him. I'm starting to see why his ideological opponenets hate him so badly. He speaks effectively, and that's the most cardinal sin. Fire the tongs!
Like I said, the main problem with him is that the fascists like him.
So you consider his bleating pronouncements about "cultural Marxism" and "postmodernism" to be basically accurate, or at least not a problem?Like I said, the main problem with him is that the fascists like him.

But you realize that's why fascists like him, right? Like, the fact that fascists like him is not this weird inexplicable thing. Fascists like him because his brand is specifically directed at them. Even if Peterson himself is not one of them, you know what they say about growing to fit the mask...
I don't consider it to be accurate. I guess I have been living in the world of the Religious Right being so terrified of universities that it's just same-old, same-old to me. Don't get me wrong, the alt-right scares me to treat them like a legitimate threat. And yeah, fascists like him. But that's the major problem. He's the new person telling them what they want to hear.
Do you know what cultural Marxism actually means? It’s the same thing “globalists” has come to mean. It’s a four letter word that starts with a J and rhymes with lose.

I never said that's not a problem. I said it's the biggest problem.I guess I just find it odd that you don't seem to think the fact that he is telling fascists what they want to hear is a problem, distinct from "fascists like him."

The man has a series of useful things to say.
I'm tying to understand how you're able to say that Peterson, who self-identifies as a liberal, who believes in the all of the fundamental foundations of liberalism has crafted his message to appeal to fascists. To myself, and to many others I presume, that just doesn't make any logical sense.
Those are both somewhat ambiguous terms, but I have a general idea of what they mean. I have a hunch that it's really you who doesn't know what they mean, so I'd be interested in hearing your take on it and you'll have to be more specific than "J-lose."
