not to jinx this game, but I've been thinking a bit. Perhaps ya'll would like to try your hands at another SG after this one, one more...action-packed.
I'm talking Conquest, baby! It's clobberin' time! Head-smashin' and war mongerin'
Prelimenary thoughts:
Map: Fractal (or Pangea if others want)
Size: Standard
Opponents: 7 (so 8 civs total, 1 more than normal)
Game Speed: Epic
Difficulty: Prince/Monarch (depending)
Leader: Nappy (since we just played Louis, it might be interesting to see how france changes under new mgmt)/Bismarck/Genghis. (this is still up for discussion, but i want someone NOT typically used or not as popular).
Victory: all enabled, Conquest is the only win we can do. (if we'd like, we *could* take off Dom)
Variant: "Total Kill" enabled: All cities AND units must be destroyed for a civ to be eliminated.
With leo de carpio? musketeers? neat=Ppholkhero said:Nappy, dude! That's why i'm so keen to use him...i like the title "The Man in the Iron Mask". ever read the book/seen the movie??
I used to think that since they were only str9, but i think the 2 mvt pts is key to effectively using them. Basically, you are able to keep w/cav's (and so defend them in the open field), wreak havoc on cities, and effectively respond to internal threats. I think they are undervalued, actually. I hope that this SG proves itSpriteSODA said:Well, i think musketeers sucks, they have nothing special. But, Nappy's attributes are good and it will be fun (btw the locked king is Louis XIV =P).
