Well the Difference Engine really doesn't have the necessary computing power for the update, so I suppose you are out of luck unless/until the Analytical Engine is every constructed....

Whaddaya mean, 'doesn't have the power?' I've got the latest 1-bit software and almost 10k of memory!

But on a more serious note, Apple's new 'Catalina' OS for my iMac doesn't support 32-bit software anymore, so IF I were to 'upgrade' to it, I'd lose all the Aspyr games including this one, and Steam, and a bunch of my favorite, and useful, programs. I think that is one Upgrade I just might delay for a few years . . .

Boris: not true. Civ VI is 64-bit only, there was never a 32-bit version. And Steam for macOS has already been updated (if you reinstall from steampowered.com you get the 64-bit version now). I know, I'm running the Catalina beta, and neither Steam nor Civ have the slash through them (some other stuff does).

I doubt it, we already had the video and the livestream, it was just the compatibility issues that delayed the patch.
I'm also curious about the time. All you people that follow these things, when do patches usually drop - at 11:00 EST/17:00 CET?

I have the strong feeling that the "When is the new patch coming? (according to the experts)"-thread was closed too early. The date is just replaced by time of day-guessing now ...

Anyway - is actually nobody worried about the fact that the patch is launched today: a WEDNESDAY!?
Sure, this week-day was among the possible predictions, but majorly outweighted by Tuesdays and Thursdays due to past launches.
This means that future launches will be even less predictable, as the spread of likely week-days is even wider now!

Yes, that's when the Antarctica Late Summer Patch arrived so that's 19:00 British Summer Time/CET, 14:00 US Eastern Time and 11:00 US Pacific Time. 06:00 on Wednesday for New Zealanders! Unless they change the time...

As a dev, I too derive an unusual pleasure in reading a good set of documentation (patch notes)
