:D

Gotta love that one.. ..so you guys are working through my to do list for the next 3 years now or what?

No, I didnt even get that far because my Nifviewer wont work..
..I have exactly the same problem as Garret (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=277848) but there are even more drivers affected, so I didnt dare to reinstall anything yet..

ok made some tries for you, it is possible to add temacolour in nifscope:
Spoiler :

first, open as reference a model with teamcolour, the model should have (at
least) two NiSourceTexture Node as childs of the NiTexturingProperty, one of
of the NiSourceTexture should be linked to a file called teamcolor.bmp, the
second to the skin

open your model in nifscope, copy the NiSourceTexture from your reference
nif to the your model (the copied node should be outside the three on the
bottom of the list).

Go to the NiTriShape of your model, select the NiTexturingProperty and go to
base texture (must be set to yes), open base texture in the details and add
as Source the number of the copied node

Next go to Has Decal 0 Texture (again must be set to yes), and as Source
for the Decal 0 Texture enter the number of your skin (the NiSourceTexture
which links to the skin) [if this method will not work, copy the skin
NiSourceTexture of your reference model, change the name to your skin, and
link to this node, than delete your original node]

As last step perhaps change the Clamp Mode and Filter Mode to the one of
your reference (but i have no idea, what exact each option do)

had an small issue in nifviewer with this nif, when i first open the nif i got a
black skin, after loading a different model, which worked, removed this and
loaded the changed nif again it worked. In game a short test worked (only
looked in the pedia and added the model with the Worldbuilder ingame)

hope you can follow the steps without pics

Ciao

Bloody hell, that aircraft was a giant for its time.
The B-36 Peacemaker. They even made a modified version that could carry an RF-84F Thunderflash underslund from one of the bomb bays.

The B-36's biggest problem was that it was obsolete when it came into service. Originally designed to bomb the likes of Germany from the comfort of an American airbase, it was put on paper in 1941 when the fear that Britain could fall was a real concern. By the time it entered service in 1949, aircraft were already in production that were making use of the newfangled jet engine. Granted, the B-36 was the first aircraft in our arsenal capable of carrying thermonuclear weapons and was the first true intercontinental bomber, making it the keystone in America's early nuclear deterrent force (despite the fact all the aircraft would have been sitting ducks against the Soviet fighters of the time), and this distinction kept it in service well beyond its usable service life. Well, along with the usual political concerns and the unwillingness of people to spend another bucketload of money to produce a capable replacement.

That never stopped anyone from making a Civ4 model before (Maus tank and a lot of other units come to mind)... why should it now? :p

There is something that stops me from making this unit and thats the 5th and 6th propeller..:mischief:
Just add more animations... I know it can be done... Snafu has six rotating turrets on the Helgoland Dreadnought, but the most animated turrets in the default game has been four... so obviously it can be done! I think Coyote might know how.

Yep, it can be done and Coyote most likely knows how..:) ..but first I got to test that teamcolor thing and even before that I gotta finish the He 219..
..and probably before doing more planes I should make another B5 ships package...
Actually, you should get into warships... we still need a lot more then General Matt can put out! :p

Not exactly what I had in mind...

It looks like an enlarged bullet with a tube like toothpaste comes in welded on the back.
..:D

Its the "Engelmann Boot" a Submarine-PT Boat hybrid, the idea was to have a PT boat with 90% of its hull submerged..
..it was meant to replace the normal PT boats and couldnt fully submerge, its armament would be comparable to that of a normal sub..

Ah, interesting. That would be an interesting unit to have. Would it have a penalty vs air units or would it have flak guns or something mounted on it?
