K 7 - The Zany 'Zerkers' (thanx to meldor)

1695 AD (2)
(I) We lose some units to spanish counters but they also drop a spear/settler pair off on the former Japanese island.

1700-1705 AD (3-4)
We take care of the spear/settler with an Elite knight.
Razed Santander, Satsuma,

1705 AD (4)
(I)

1710-1720 AD (5-7)
Razed Jaen, Toledo, Nagagoya, Izumo

We get Navigation and start Metalurgy in 17. The French start Cop's, its a shame we finish it in 2. Edrine is swapped to Magellan's due in 387 turns. The GL makes that 1. While reducing Mecca to rubble we replace our GL

1720 AD (8)
(I) The AI are amazed as our boats take to the high seas.

1725-1740 AD (9-12)
Razed Asturias, Osaka, Edo, and 1 Japanese city I didn't get the name of...

Get to watch single musketman fortified in mountains take out Spanish army. Russia declares war on us, France gets dragged in as well. The only one not fighting us is Germany. We will see want we can do about that.

The Japanese are down to one city, Egypt has 2, France has 3, Germany 5, Spian has about 8 and Russian is the biggie with ~12.

Killer, watch out, there are some mysterious red ships sailing near Germany. Warn us if they start to sail up the Rhine and spew Zerks!

1740-1754 AD (12-16)
Razed Vladavostok,Grenoble, Rouen, Paris (and with it the Colossus)
We capture Kyoto and the Japanese are gone.

French have 2 cities left, same for the Egyptians, Germany has 6, Spain has 12 and Russia has 10

meldor: it seems to be getting a bore, but you are really dishing out the good news there :goodjob:
We have on the order of ~130 ships....do you know how much it hurts moving those around? I basically have been fighting with units that you started moving to the front on your turn. The only troops I have set in motion (except for local builds) to have made an attack yet has been the razing of Frankfurt (oh, was that Germany?). The next person will have a lot more troops coming as I have upgraded the ships to Caravels to get the third Zerk in the boat.

1756-1762 AD (17-20)
Razed Thebes (and the Pyramids), Avignon, Sverdlosk, Liepzig.

French have 1 city left, same for the Egyptians, Germany has 5, Spain has 13 and Russia has 9
I almost got the French. They should be gone next turn. There is a ton of units just arriving to take out more core Spanish cities. I just got started on Russia as well.

Actually there are now about 150 ships 50+ of which are now caravels.

Saved Game

Also, a lot of worker were already shift-a automated, it won't make a differnce at this point so I automated the rest. It saved about a half hour per turn.

I would disband any new workers from razed cities. It isn't worth the trouble of trying to get them back to a safe area.

melifluous: do you want another go?

everyone: play as much as you can bear. If you have time for 3 or 4 turns only that's OK (sorry meldor, I should really have stated that before!)

OK can I just say that the link above does not work?

Anyway I found the file in the upload directory ...

Shoulda said berserk-1762AD.zip tut tut Meldor :p

Melifluous

It isn't going to matter, this game is finished. It is just a matter of someone taking the pain of moving all the units around to finish it off. The only real power left is Spain, and I was letting them waste all their time trying to cut off our furs. They are really only a pain because they have muskets, so it takes a couple more Zerks per city to raze them. The Russians look tough until you get there and they only have spear defneders and their big offensive threat is a horseman. Same for the Germans. They French shouldn't last past the opening turn of the next round. All of them are on their last legs and are spending much of their pop trying to settle all the land we have opened up. Unfortunately for them, they don't bring enough forces to defend their new colonies. Melifluous should finish it off or get pretty darn close. They only hard cities will be those in the interior. But once all ofthe coastly cities are gone, it won't matter.

Ah, the endgame on a huge map. Makes me long for the smell of Napalm in the morning, or I guess in this case the smell of an unwashed Zerk

Pre-Turn : Turn off the 10% lux, no city needs it, and increase research to 30%, Metallurgy next turn...

Turn 1 (1764AD) - Get Metallurgy and set research to 10%. Heidelburg razed, Nuremburg razed, Kiev razed, Novgorod razed. French Capital Besancon had one spear who died, razed the city. We have destroyed the Strong French, Lord.
Turn 2 (1766AD) - Some other russian city razed...Elephantine razed,
Turn 3 (1768AD) - Seville razed
Turn 4 (1770AD) - Konigsburg razed, Munich razed, Yakutsk razed
Turn 5 (1772AD) - Minsk razed, Palma razed, Cologne Razed
Turn 6 (1774AD) - Hamburg Razed, Tblisi razed
Turn 7 (1776AD) - Berlin razed! YAY! We have destroyed the Solid Germans, Excellency

Well that just about does it for my turn...
LOTS OF ZERKERS ON BOATS HEADING FOR THE EAST COAST OF SPAIN...

Troops are building up on the West of West main island and the East of East Main Island...

Have fun

Germans and French are dead...

Egypt has a single city, Russia have 7 cities and the Spanish have 12...
We have 1420 gold in the bank and are currently clearing 260 gold per turn
We have 55 galleys, 87 caravel and 260 berserkers hehe

199 hours, 17 minutes and 9 seconds so far...

Zerker 1776AD

Whoo, 260 unwashed zerks. Well I'm not up in any of my games so I'll probably play some tomorrow.

'Got it'

In the year 1784, an especially Zany Zerker tried a French invention called... the shower. Soon he smelled good, so good that all the other Zerkers folowed suite. Soon, everyone loved the Zerkers and they didn't want to fight anymore. Here is what followed.
