Kal-el's Unit Concept Sketches

Btw, Kal-El, when you do the sketches for flavour units. Do the warrior -> knight first, then go to a new civ. The industrial and modern units isn't as important to get flavour units to. I think.

I haven't had much time lately, but this guy has been stomping around in my head and I finally had a few minutes to get him out.

He is the Samoan Clubman to replace the standard Warrior. I thought it would be nice to see some alternative body shapes.

Awesome you can't have Polynesian units without a fat Samoan guy with no shirt and a loincloth! I can't wait til this puppy (well actually colossol bulldog) is made.

Ooh, ooh, Kal El, a drawing you have to make!

Reading over the civilopedia entry for the Mayans, it seems that they had men in their army whou would throw hornets nests (called "hornet bombs") at their enemies. Imo they would be a great catapult replacement for the mayans. Do you think you could post a sketch like that?

Yes but the death animation could be him accidently dropping the hornet's nest onto himself as he dies.

Have a standard catapult, except the front will have an wooden elephant head to add an image of feroicity. The sides would have zebra hides, and the guy running it would have a lion cape.
