KILL the 10 character limit.

To make it interesting I think we should employ a 50 character limit. Therefore spammers would have to dig in to their creative abilities.

Or we could just keep it at ten characters. Again going back to the phrase, "If it isn't broke, why fix it?"

nope, you need everything to be in the message field

There is not a single rule that can't be broken.

Apparently he just pressed enter between the word and the period, but that doesn't work for me.
He put multiple spaces between the yea and the period.

Thus the multi-space filter comes after the 10 character filter.

If we are going to have some kind of limit it should be larger. At least if people spam then it will be more creative or at least more noticeable.

I beleve we should remove the 10 character limit or reduce it to 5.

Sure. You just have to prepare for the consequences.

There are also very eloquent ways to bend the rule. :)

You get the quote right?

This Image that was here was stolen from charmed-boards. Please don't take our images or bandwidth. :nono:

I hate smilie only posts. Clutters up the board, adds absolutely nothing, and if I remember right, TF specifically banned them. I wish that was enforced more.

Well now it will be since not everyone will know about the quote option to get round the limit...

KILL IT kill it kill it.

Brevity is the essence of wit, or however it goes.

This rule is very, very dumb. It doesn't stop spam. People just add gibberish to make it long enough. All it does is PISS people off.

KILLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure a post crammed with foul language and incoherency will win the Mods over....
