What Civ has Goa as its capital?

It's probably the Songhai capital (Gao), the writer just spelled it wrong.

Yep, that really confused me since Goa is a city in India.

Is Goa a city on India's list? If so, it could have been the Huns and he could have been mistaken that it was the capital.

And that his spy failed to detect the civ launching an attack on him. Not once have I seen City State declaring war on somebody for nor reason, so it must've been Askia.

I really am happy of the color choices they made for Sweden, they're perfect and very much modern.

I strongly suspect the author meant Gao, not Goa.

After thinking about it a bit, the Faith Strength may reflect how capable the unit is at converting cities. The cities may have an innate resistance to religious shifts and it takes strength of conviction to overcome it. I bet we will see that missionaries have a lower faith strength.

Yes, I was thinking something similar -- that Missionaries probably have a similar mechanic.

The prophets have plenty to do, so it's likely not needed (spread religion, found religion, settle, etc).

I suspect that Great Prophets and Admirals should be able to start Golden Ages... but you'd probably be insane to use them for that.
