KotOR Mafia - game thread

Havent read all of the role PMs yet, but I really enjoyed the game. I thought I had the win in the bag. Darn you BL!!!

You are a dangerous lurker. Almost more dangerous than when your active. Almost. I really can't tell yet. I'm just really glad we killed you N1 in TF2. A good decision for our team.

EDIT: You slimy, no-good, thief!!!! I made my money the old-fashioned way!!! Oh well. I never actually did place a bounty. People just paid me to place bounties. I kept the money for myself. Thanks Bsmith :goodjob:

Yeah, the ingredients were there for a bounty hunter purge, although anyone reaing the Revanchists' QuickTopic can see that pizza's plan was to get rid of the Bhs first.

Yeah I was kind of in a bad spot with the Revanchists there for a bit. I was trying to play both sides, and while I thought I was playing Atpg, he was playing me all along. Though I did survive. First time I've done that in a large game.

Good game! Thanks for hosting Takhisis, know it was a long and complicated one.

I have to give special congratulations to the townies who weren't made part of any core town network but stuck with the game to the finish because that takes a lot of dedication. Particularly thinking of Verarde and TheBlackKnigh, and Jarrema kinda got into the town network when he was back. Of course, all the other Jedi/townies that I got to work with, you guys know you did a great job, collectively holding the scum to so few kills and effectively catching and killing them all in the end.

Next themed game, can people make less assumptions about characters if they haven't played the game or watched the film/series? When some guys were talking about G0-T0 seeming suspicious for claiming to be a Republic supporter I was getting kind of antsy. Themes are hints and ignoring hints is a rather terrible strategy.

Yeah, this. I don't think Takhisis posted it, so here's the "Townie Network" Quicktopic, which included me, Zack, Mergle, Earthling, BSmith, Beefy, and Jarrema:

Note that Zack didn't post in it, as he was dead by the time we created this QT.

Ugh, this game was painfully awful, and not because of the setup or the hosting.

Well done, Takhisis. Could have been wonderful. I mean that much sincerely; I don't fault you.

Tak, could me and Pizza's plan actually have worked?

This was a great game for me... until particular moment. At some moment of game, it became simply boring.
Design of this game was wonderful, I also enjoyed my role

It was a nice game. I could have survived if I had been reasonable and hadn't attacked Winston while being injured. :hammer2:

You should post the night orders.

I believe I run out of them, maybe I overlooked one (I had 6 uses total)
Not having anything to do at night miight cause my feeling of boreness

The bounty hunters should have been more powerful and the Triumvirate should really have killed a lot more people. People kept relying on Light/Dark scans, even though they clearly weren't reliable, and we really should not have had to replace so many people.

Replacing in to the Triumvirate was pretty frustrating, I have played in scum teams with a lot of inactivity in the past, but coming in to such a team was not fun.

Of course, when the hosts give your cover role a PG to outlive another cover role, it doesn't help...[pissed]

:sheep:

The game would have been good, if not for the painful inactivity of the Sith Triumvirate and our bad cover roles. Had we actually killed people, roleblock logic would have failed, but no...

Other than that, the set up was good, though I never understood my cover roles ability. Well played, town, though at first it truly looked like the town would just keep lynching at random, they were shockingly competent at the end. I was the only Triumvirate who actually tried to kill people for much of the game:gripe: and than I got injured, which didn't help. Pizza's decision to roleclaim also seems strange to me, as it basicly laid the remaining scum out for the town to see.
