Rig is a Dell XPS 420, 4 GB RAM @ 2.4GHz, Vista 32, ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT. GPU is min spec, rest is pretty new and fine.
I'm getting missing icons and leader scenes and crashes whenever it happens. Can't get ss's for fear of crashing the PC yet again. Exs: While moving, the blue movement limit line appears as well as the number, but the blue shiny cursor disc does not.

icons appear on the tiles in city view, but the icons in the UI do not. Diplo screens are completely mental, fully functional, but shows the map, not the leader, and does not quit screens at all unless you exit the interface and return to the game screen, so when you feel bold and go for a trade, the screen jitters a lot, then blacks and crashes. Symptoms of a corrupt file somewhere? Could someone pick a file that could be it? I haven't done any modding to the original files at all, and the problems are in vanilla as well.
