Nice tidy up of some interesting edits lol, but I think you'll find that @Weraptor slipped Cyrus another point way up back, so he should be on 19. (Post# 125)

Gilgamesh is just goddamn ridiculous, he has like three or four times the body mass of Gandhi, freakin mutant. I also generally dislike how his l e g e n d a r y depiction completely derailed the entire design of Sumerian civ (I still think it should focus on very early development bonuses). Instead we got Gilgamesh Bodybuilding International: the Ancient Mercenary Company.

More than 3 to 4 times even! Gilgy is yuuuuuge! :D

Catherine de' Medici - 15 - 3 = 12 She reminds me of a witch.

Ah, but what a little stirring witch. Fantastic addition to the game :mischief:

96 VOTES CAST.. TIME FOR SOME STATS

TOP 5 (well 6 as we had ties) Most hated leaders:

It's Cleo on top..!

Great work BrotherInJah :)
I'm sure everyone follows this, but Gandhi's still most hated lol. It's only my love for Cleo that subjected her to more downvotes!

As Qin Shi Huang was eliminated yesterday for looking like a toad, I couldn't resist to draw him :p Here: http://sketchtoy.com/68576635

Top marks!

I don’t dislike Barbarossa enough to eliminate him, but I don’t like enough to save him. I will let the honors to the next!

You just don't wanna end up on BrotherInJah's most bloodthirsty list! :p ;)

Hojo Tokimune - 27
Jadwiga - 20
Jayavarman VII - 21
John Curtin - 18 + 1 = 19 (Definitely one of the better leader models, themed well around his historical agenda as a rallying defensive cry for Australia, and animated well.)
Lautaro - 22
Mvemba a Nzinga - 15
Peter the Great - 24
Philip II - 15
Poundmaker - 26
Robert the Bruce - 23 (Why is he still so high despite terrible VA and an odd visual portrayal?)
Saladin - 17
Seondeok - 20
Shaka - 20
Tamar - 19 - 3 = 16 (Portrayed as suspicious of foreigners, with a dismissive intro telling you to "be on your way", and has giant hands. So she's basically an inverse Trump with a gender switch. She also doesn't look like the historical Tamar.)
Teddy Roosevelt - 24
Tomyris - 11
Trajan - 3 (Fall, Caesar! Would that we could come by the spirit of Caesar without dismembering Caesar, but alas, he must bleed for it. [This being said, I hesitate to stab at him now in light of Tamar's ridiculously high score, so I will revisit the stabbing of this Asterix Caesar-wannabe later.])

I think I would have liked him more if they had stuck more closely to that, though I think they might have recycled it to inspire some of Cyrus's expressions anyway.

On the subject of huge hands.

I've seen a few people mention this so far, and actually, if you look at them, quite a few leaders seem to have disproportionately large hands, including everyone's favourite member of the Tokimune clan. Is this perhaps some kind of odd stylistic choice on Firaxis's part? Or a widespread genetic trait in Civ-land :crazyeye:

I've noticed in this thread people cross-post a lot, so we need to pay closer attention to current leader scores.

Well said Morningcalm (no doubt this will be the post that I stuff it up haha).

Tamar - 19 - 3 = 16 (Portrayed as suspicious of foreigners, with a dismissive intro telling you to "be on your way", and has giant hands. So she's basically an inverse Trump with a gender switch. She also doesn't look like the historical Tamar.)

Well, for much of history, telling suspicious foreigners to be on their way was a much needed survival tactic :hammer:

Trajan - 3 (Fall, Caesar! Would that we could come by the spirit of Caesar without dismembering Caesar, but alas, he must bleed for it. [This being said, I hesitate to stab at him now in light of Tamar's ridiculously high score, so I will revisit the stabbing of this Asterix Caesar-wannabe later.])

Trajan - 3 - 3 = 0 Gone! I didn't want to be the one who actually eliminated him, but his too-skinny model really is the worst of those remaining, IMHO.

It is weird how Trajan is depicted. I enjoy interacting with him in game, be he angry or friendly; but I can't help but think that he's Julius Caesar:

Trajan was clearly a solidly built guy. Ceasar on the other hand was leaner, and is who we are most used to looking at dressed up in Roman regalia:

Yet even he looks more solid than Civ VI's Trajan. I hope this isn't the last we see of Trajan, and that they get him more on the money another time round.

On the subject of huge hands.

Yeah, I think the hands could well be out on most the models. Having a thing for feet, I don't tend to notice lol :mischief: ;)

Definitely agreed on Trajan--I was so excited they chose him, but the way they portrayed him was so wrong, that I hope they just go with a middle-aged Gaius Julius Caesar next time (for whom Trajan's Declare War line of "Alea iacta est" would make much more sense)

I actually jumped the first time he reacted to my war declaration on him--so emphatically did he emphasize resistance)
