Lets bash Britain

There is no such thing as British cars any more, except for luxury brands owned by American or German companies.
By that logic, there's no such thing as a British country anymore, except for a luxury brand owned by a German family.

Or Indian. Their former "colonies" are now colonizing them.

(my reference being Jaguar)

I was thinking more like a Ford Fiesta, except most British people won't want to drive that because it's American.

Daw. The Fiesta is a pretty good car for the money, Ford really stepped up its game in the last 10 years. I'd buy one. Well, at least it's a good car for the money if it's a domestic, not sure if the pricing structure holds anywhere else.

My mum's got a Ford Ka which she thinks is great, there seems to be quite a few on the road, too. It was the same with Ford Fiestas back in the day.

Apart from Ford, I can't think of any other US car firms that are popular here, though. Casual observation suggests mainly German, French and Japanese cars, but then when it comes to cars, I'm a very casual observer

Opel/Vauxhall markets itself as German but it is owned by GM for the last 80 years.

Admittedly I doubt there is as much if any overlap in designs, supply chain etc as there is in Ford. (actually it looks like they are sold as Buick in North America)

No Lincoln here ;) Besides Lincoln was known as emancipator who freed the slaves and there are no slaves in Britain, besides EU is not 1 country like USA so the is no reason for Civill War. UK has good reason to separate - recent economic crash coused them to pump hundreds of millions of puonds into foreing banks, furthermore unstable flow of immigrants seeking their fortune and wealth leaving UK citizens high and dry. Separation is 50/50 untill elections anyway. Doomsayers say that the UK separation from EU would be catastrophic and it will be for those depending on the donations that EU gives to countries in economic depression ;)

The poor are the scum of the earth and living like kings and queens on their £79 a week jobseekers allowance!!!

REDUCE THEIR BENEFITS!!! ...

...

(and give people making over £500,000 pa tax cuts, and give MPs and doctors a 10% pay rise, and let the head of Atos medical terrorism earn an extra £2 million pa).

________

Heres some guy in a coma. He passed his disability assessment with flying colours, and now he is fit for work and needs no more benefits!

....

Iain Duncan Smith - getting comatose guys back into work, such a nice amazing man.

Stick the Act of Union 1707 and the Crown up your arse!

We will see a free Scotland, a free Wales, a free England and a free unified Ireland one day!

Heres a guy with a fractured spine! He fell over and passed out in his Atos assessment and needed to be hospitalised for a week right after.

We give him 0 points because he pushed a button and picked up a piece of paper and a pen. Back to work you go, you lying faker trying to become a benefits thief!

Does the Republic of Ireland officially maintain expansionist foreign policy goals?

Irish logic 101:

'This woman and her unborn child are gonna die if we don't abort!!!'.

Abortion DENIED!

We just sent a mother and her unborn baby to heaven! Yay.

But demn Muslambs in the middle west are evil.

Northern Ireland, also known as the Six Occupied Counties, rightfully belongs to the Republic of Ireland. It is merely a modern day British colonial issue that all sides just accept for the sake of peace.

Not exactly what I asked. Well, unless that was a "no" I am supposed to read in. Or was it a "yes, but we're not calling it that."

Rather than giving a straightforward yes or no answer, I'll just classify it as a "can of worms" situation. Northern Ireland is way too complicated.
