Update XIV- 1200 BCE
Hawaii's policy of wild expansionism continues, but the costs to its society are growing. Even with a team of tamers of the sea, it takes almost a year to make it from one end of the nation to another. The huge numbers of developing colonies require more sustenance than the nation can support, and small revolts are breaking out in the Hawaiian periphery.
Scholars in Hilo have discovered how to create a new substance, iron, which is much stronger than current weaponry.
And attempts to make Geomancy and Aquamancy coexist have failed. Fortunately, this discovery occured before much investment was put into a combined academy, so no eco. points have been lost.
Dur Veliz' army has reclaimed all of its former lands, and is now absorbing the last pathetic remenants of humans in South America into its society.
Hyperborea and its close ally Elgovia have let up on their military offensive against Karthage. Their attack is now magical. With several Abyssinian mages, displaced by the civil war, they have attempted to blow and magically manouever Azathoth's Shadow (the Italian chaos storm) down to Sicily and the Karthaginian mainland. Fed by fresh magics, Azathoth's Shadow grew further and has engulfed Sicily. Fortunately for Karthage, there was plenty of time to evacuate Sicily before Azathoth's Shadow descended on the land.
(-1 Karthaginian economy level)
Allied Karthaginian and Balaerian forces, not having to worry about enemy forces getting past Azathoth's Shadow or the heavily guarded Straits of Messina, have made a landing in Illyrian occupied Balaeria. The Illyrian army, stretched MUCH too far, was cut off from supplies.
Combined New Atlantean, Karthaginian, and Balaerian forces horribly outnumbered the Illyrians. Desperately, they began casting their deadly spell. Shortly before being totally obliterated, the spell was complete.
As the allied forces pushed back the Illyrian front line, plague broke out in the Iberian peninsula. Fortunately for New Atlantis, it was quarantined immediately. But this was much more than just a plague.
The few survivors were thrown into Homicidal fits, and the dead, from both the battle and the surrounding villages, rose. Typical of Illyrian necromancy.
New Atlantis had to pull out of the anti-Illyrian advance, to quarantine the area. Magical supression helped prevent the magic from causing further damage, but it didn't stop it completely. Countless undead roam through Iberia unchallenged. This distraction gave the remaining Illyrian forces much more breathing room. They had time to set up necromantic traps, which bogged down their enemies until the advance was halted.
(-2.5 thousand Illyrian infantry, -1 thousand archers, -20 Unholy Knights, -10 Possessed Warriors, +1 bonus economy points from Soul Vortex, -.5 thousand Karthaginian infantry, -1 thousand Karthaginian Archers, -1 thousand Balaerian infantry, -1 thousand Balaerian Archers, -2 Thousand New Atlantean Archers, -20 New Atlantean Geomancers, -100 000 New Atlantean Population)
Gorin and Avalon have installed the Germanian Principality of Gorin and Avalon, with their son Mordred as their ruler. This and what the locals see as the 'defiling of their lands by a pyromancer king' has caused huge revolts. Southeastern Germania has thrown off their leaders and declared independence, and nearby former Germanian city-states have joined them.
With constant aid from Avalon, Lord Mordred is beginning to squash out the rebellion. All he needs to rule Germania supreme is the support of his people.
(-1 thousand Avalonian infantry)
The Abyssinian Civil war is raging. The three factions respective leaders are growing more skilled at killing each other every day. The destruction rages on, and no one is gaining an advantage (although the monarchy in the south is weakening). But the disadvantages are everywhere. The economy has stalled, and colonies are losing contact.
(-2.5 thousand Infantry, -.5 thousand archers, -1 loyalty)
Sudafrika, who has been in another stage of inept leadership, has lost all of its northern territory to the barbarians. Sounds of impending revolution spread through the streets.
(-3 thousand infantry, -1 loyalty, -80 000 population)
The war between Welikoslavia and Ur has experienced its greatest battle yet.
Despite Welikoslavia's success in preventing Ur from launching further dragon raids, the sheer economic might of Ur is pushing back Tripolye's borders.
Using weather control to deprive their enemies of water, the Urrians weakened their enemy before attacking Knyaz Kiy's Anatolian force. His attempted advance was pushed back, and he became surrounded with his army in Tarsus. An attempt to evacuate his force by sea failed, and the Welikoslavian fleet was gutted off the coast of Rhodes. Eventually, the strong defenders of Tarsus fell, as much because of their besiegers as because of the pro-Urrian resistance. Kiy was killed, along with the rest of his army. The spell of immortality protected him from time, but not the weapons of man.
After the fall of Kiy, the Welikoslavian army switched to guerilla and surprise magical tactics (like animating things of nature to fight Ur's forces). These have succeeded in slowing down the Urrian advance through Anatolia.
Barskoy's Caucasian force has been unable to move, for they are under siege from the south.
But there is good news from Kiyevgrad. A superior metal to Bronze, Iron, has been discovered. It is being rapidly put to military use.
(-40 Welikoslavian galleys, -1 thousand Welikoslavian infantry, -2 thousand Welikoslavian cavalry, -1 thousand Welikoslavian Archers, -10 Volhvi, -1 loyalty, -30 Urrian galleys, -2 thousand Urrian infantry, -2 thousand Urrian Cavalry)
The Indus Empire, not concerning itself with the war to the west, has begun construction of a great project, the Mountain Barrier, a magical defense system spanning the Himalayas.
A group of people living near the Indus/Ur border are beginning to unite. They call themselves 'Medes'.
The Immortal Kingdom has completed the invasion of Kojaro. It was discovered that the nation had fled, with a huge exodus fleet. Temujin's army lost a few men to leftover traps, but they were an insignificant number. The Great Kahn now rules the largest empire on the planet.
(-.5 thousand archers, -.5 thousand cavalry)
Notes: I've changed the map style. Defined borders between nations are double-thick, borders with barbs are single-thick (although I may change this), and undefined frontier borders are gone. Also, I have added many more primitive tribes, which were in existence before but not shown on the map or mentioned.

I'm also considering making all of my cities larger. What do you think of that?
P.S. I left some borders normal, so you can compare.
Please tell me what you think of this.
Oh, and I was wondering if you'd like to switch the confusing trade counter system to simpler trade centers. You'd have each current trade route turned into a trade center, so there'd be no loss of eco. points. Although they would change over time, like all other trade center systems.
