LINESII- Into the Darkness- Part II

@itsund3rmykilt- I won't accept the orders addition, I've already updated your region and won't edit it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrr.

God. I hate when people take over and they have no sense of the past :(. *sigh* Why does it always seem that I'm attacking newbies?

First, Swiss shut up. I'd be more concerned if you were able to pull off an alliance with a country where the MAJORITY lies within my people than him actually attacking me. An anti-oniest leader right now, but I do hope the fool knows he will suffer BADLY for any deaths that comes to my religion once this war is over. I'd love for him to invade- I'll make it so bloodyly that even Silver will cringe. After all, Arcadia is one of the most religious places on the planent, and having someone invade it should be fun.

Friends? Your people are the ones who took over my nation to begin with. You suppressed our reign, and for what? What you consider progress? I think not. It is because of the Oneists a civil war even took place in Tir Tairngire. And what do you mean by faith? By religious standards, we had our own. And hope? That was the only thing that kept us going in order to claim the land that rightfully belongs to the Divotheists.

First off, Arcadian/Ardan peoples have been key allies for the last few centuries. Keep this in mind, after all much of your improved standing came along form me. Origionally, it was LittleBoot's country, and at the time, we were allied in several NESes. I'll tell you now that it was HIS people who sought contact with Arcadia and his that accepted missionaries. My people have never voilated any requests to remove religious authorities.

Secondly, Ardan has never taken over Tir Tairngire. Rather, its FIRST king accepted missionaries into his lands and preferred the Oneist faith. Ardan hasn't interferred in Tairngire in centuries, not after the first missionaries were sent. Your lies and fallacies shine among the One's truths, fool.

There is no friendship after war, especially so soon- wounds take years to mend, especially the ones that require cleansing of disease. If you had wanted to let us live in peace, maybe you Oneists shouldn't have invaded this land from the start.

A war you sought? The fact that we are recognizing your foolish regime stats something already, since you are nothing but an assisnator of the true king. The only disease we see is your foolish train of thought- the rumors we heard that your leader is going senile must be true. Finally, the gift of Oneism was accepted by your people centuries ago- look at the fact that they provide the majority.

Finally, I must stress this to be what it is: WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY KILLINGS OF OUR BRETHEN IN ANY LAND. Dare to take such an undertaking and your fate will be no less than the one that will meet the Swade. Take this warning to heart and your foolish regime may not crash into the waves of destruction.

The Divotheists didn't fight back much when oneism was imposed on them, why would now be different?

What?! Emu, I'm disappointed in you. Here I was thinking you had the situation down and you pull this out of nowhere. You should remember, as I said only six times above, Oneism was invited into Tir Tairngire- never imposed. And this time, they'll ifght because they're not idiots who'll let fools kill them.

Because Oneists are homicidal maniacs bent on taking over the world?

Lies! If anything, we're actually failing. If you didn't notice, Oneism has been in decline ever since....hmm, Thlayli decided to attack everyone? Anyways, my faith has only been spread into lands which allowed it!

OOC: Just one little comment darkening, I don't think silver would cringe at ANYTHING :p

Darkening stop being so cocky and arrogant please, you can be destroyed just like the rest of us

Wow. Attacking a person can really change their attitude, huh? Secondly, Ken, it wouldn't be wise to talk about this on your case. And, as it appears I've already been destroyed, I'd realize that fact.

I'm sure some leader's have randomly changed their minds about things, right? Kenna decided to do the same.

@Iggy: Is there a rule or anything about us asking about update expantancy? I don't want to ask and have everyone complain about it.

To Kelios
From Sanx
Is a 3 turn NAP in order?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrr.
Don't worry, it won't make a big difference.

I'm sure some leader's have randomly changed their minds about things, right? Kenna decided to do the same.

It's almost exactly half done.

I'm pretty sure Emu was referring to the conquest of Zemora. So yes, he has the situation down. :p

Now they have a strongly anti-Oneist leader who's spewing hate and propaganda against their faith.

Most of the oneists are descended from people who were forcibly converted when littleboots was in charge. The military kept a lid on any descent last time.

It may have been invited into the country, but it was imposed on the people. Resentment is high and the new player does have a sense of the past, but he also has a sense of the present, Sanx and the other Divotheists did him a great favour by winning the civil war for him and I believe the Divotheist army is still in Tuatha.

Update 21- Years 1447-1500: Hegemon

Tir Tairngire has begun to form closer relations with Arcadia. Its welcoming of Pirian missionaries, while good for relations, was an unpopular move for the people of the country, who are firmly entrenched in their religion already. Despite this, there have still been some converts, and some adopting both religions. The contact has brought trading benefits.

Update 22- Years 1500-1535: Vandrios' Gambit

In Tir Tairngire, a time of great upheaval has come. The War Chief declared himself High King and High Priest of the Holy Church. Which Church?

Pirian Oneist, unfortunately for the Divotheist majority of the country. For the High King immediately began a process of forced conversion, cracking down on all practitioners of the old faith. Many converted, but others fought. A civil war nearly broke out, but the Oneist forces stamped out opposition before it could become too strong. All of the nation now follows Pirian Oneism, although resentment towards the government is growing for its heavy-handed actions.

Update 24- Years 1590-1631: Ascendent Crescent

Tir Tairngire has come into a time of troubles. Many people still held lingering anger against the Connall line of Chiefs, primarily for their harsh religious policies. This added to the nation falling behind its neighbours in terms of technology and societal development created a dangerous situation. A Chief named Kenna emerged in the south and began gathering followers. The government didn’t act on it, until a declaration of independence came from the area of Port Connall (renamed Tiria). As per tradition, Kenna traveled to Murias to fight Connall III in duel. The Chief of Tir Tairngire could hardly refuse a request such as this without a great loss of standing. So he accepted, and was slain. Furious, the supporters of Connall attacked Kenna, who fled. Kenna gathered his forces, who were quickly attacked. They pulled off a surprising victory outside of their new capital, scattering much of the Connallite Army. Given this brief chance, Kenna advanced on the cities of Shae da Dale and Murias. Connall IV (the nephew of the late Chief) managed to regather his forces and set up defensive lines before both cities.

But by this point, anti-Connall unrest was beginning to break out all over the nation. Tir Tairngire is now in a difficult situation. It is vulnerable to outside attack, and the war seems to be very closely-balanced, so the war may drag on. Kenna and the people (who largely support him), however, have time on their side.

Ooh, BURN! :p Emu appears to keep a better track of things than his number of posts indicates.

Win.

But whatever, I predict i will fall this turn. If i'm tired of slaughter, I'm sure my people are more so.

After being sick this week and having a lot of work in school... resuming update. I may have to take some time off to do a little bit of English and Study for my Physics Test, but other than that my only limit is impatient parents who want to use the internet.

Iggy, my only demand is that the update arrive before you rack up 10k posts. :p

EDIT: For you, that might be quite harsh.

I take it from the silence from Darkening that he accepts that he is wrong?
