Yes, if you have a big enough NES. Relax and read a book while you're waiting. It's good for you.

Hi!

Well to get right down to it, im new to NESing and thinking about joining this one as it looks quite interesting. Im currently learning the ropes or at least the general how to in a few NES's over on Amirsan's stratcommandcenter website.

Wondering what some good nations would be to look into. I have alot of reading to do in this thread (all the updates, the historys of various NPC'd nations that might be good for me to take over and all that jazz)

Anyhow look forward to starting in this and ill post more when I have further questions.

I wouldn't dive into this one.. is a long way down the line to get involved now. Click on the links in my signature for some "fresher" NES. I would highly recommend BirdNES

Don't listen to Abaddon. I started halfway through and caught up quite nicely, though I've quit NESing since then... The NES is an enjoyable read anyway, so you shouldn't have that much trouble starting up. You should wait for the next update to choose a nation.

As the updates get more bloated, so does the player list...I call it the Iggian Reverse Polarity Continuum. I'm not sure why, it just sounds really cool.

Hmm... Kalmar is the strongest current NPC, but they're not very exciting and a bit boxed in. Guarela, Sintonia and Chancotol might be interesting, as would Rozan; all three have some room for expansion. I think Fairhelt is NPC as well.

Of those listed as NPC, at least Magland, Gamorrea, Tir Tairngire and Kelios are no longer NPC.

The only NPC I really wouldn't recommend is Destre, which is both weak and boxed in.

Merhai is NPC, even though Iggy doesn't show it as such. Though it might be a bad nation to take at this time.

I just joined this turn as well; I would reccomend choosing a nation thats far enough away from the action to give you time to sort things out and become up to date on the situation.
