..."Excuse me?"
"Yes, that's right, we've intercepted an interesting conversation."
"An interesting conversation? This world has not attained nearly the amount of technology necessary to talk about something
interesting."
"I know, I know, but look, we've detected it. Our de-cryptographers are attempting to...oh look, here, they've deciphered it. You should be getting a printout soon of the log."
The commander of the HMS Ey-Ess-Dee-Eff rolled his eyes and buried his head in his hands. It was probably a brooch of such protocol or something, but then, when you commanded that much power, you didn't need to be especially strict.
The printout finished printing out on their new LazerPrinter 5000 (now with more Zs, because it is culturally significant to replace Zs with Ss). The captain looked very puzzled.
Some people somewhere near "Kernal" said:
"so this is the universe Known as 'LINESII'?"
"Yhea. Its stuck between moments right now while we repair it's world tree, but the repairs are over half done, and the Debugging should begin soon. but we need to know if That is a Glitch of a natural object of the world line first."
"that?"
"Here.." *beep* " I drained bay so we can have a better veiw."
"wow.. that's.. big"
"yhea I know. We need to know asap weather we need to modify it out not. so you pass it on to the mod, and get back to us on it asap. we do have a deadline."
"right."
The commander's head was pounding.
"What is this? Their diction...so horrible."
The Worst Mate shrugged. "Well, from all we know, it's somewhere near 'Kernal'."
"How do you guys bug a conversation without knowing where it is?"
"Oh, it's very complicated Semi-linear Post Calculus With or Without Limits type work."
"Oh." Math had never been the commander's strong point. That was why he had joined the Navy.
"Well, figure out who they are!"
"Aye."
