LINESII- Into the Darkness

You know whats hilarious. After checking the stats, I could theoretically route Veritas:D

I'm dug in, we have the same number of troops, and he can't afford to send more than 3000 my way
It's good thing to underestimate your enemy, you know. Such odds could easily be won with clever tactics, although I've noticed tactics are not... as important as they are elsewhere...

Example: I don't remember who, but someone lost 1,000 horse archers when fighting an army of spearmen, and only managed to kill 1,000 of spears. Seriously WTH? unless those horsemen just did a mindless charge I can't understand such heavy losses. There shouldn't be any, spearmen have no ability whatsoever to counter horse archers, they are just sitting ducks waiting to be shot. But still, they managed to kill 1,000 of the horsies. Or am I missing something?

Besides, the military system iggy uses ain't that flexible, you either lose 1,000 or none. This is just a polite suggestion, but please even consider changing to similiar hundreds/thousands/divisions system which is used by many others. I suggest you would use hundreds system, and each eco would give you 10 hundreds. The more important change would be that one could lose just 1, 2 or 7 hundreds, instead of that 10. It would seriously make the game much more in flexible and in depth.

Note Iggy that this is just constructive critisism, I don't mean to offend you in any way with this.

Great update!

Does "significant peace movement" mean "converts to New Eldism"? ;)

If thats what they mean, than All Significant Peace Movements must DIE. Are there any "Significant Bronze Movements";)

Well, the Gamorreans have a very unruly army. So they took fairly high losses in their raids against Malkavia.

Would you prefer I switched to a different military system or something?

And it's true, I prefer NESes that are more large-scale, less small things. I like doing what the generals would do given their national character. IE the Eldranian raid through Dula-Hathran when their back door was blocked. JD never ordered that, but it's what his generals would have done.

Although I'll try harder. One of the reasons I sometimes miss smaller things is that my parents get really annoyed when I spend lots of time on the computer, so I had to do the update quickly. And often I do take small-scale things into account, I just seldom mention them.

And most of the peace movements aren't new Eldist. Although if they're introduced to the religion, I'll bet they'll like it.

I think he just means you should split it up into hundreds instead of just thousands, like its the same amounts and same for purchasing puposes, but you cuold say they lost 100 instead of an arbitrary thousand...

If contempt's Mongolians lost that much horse archers during north king's nes... :(

You beat me to it SS. Now i fear we are on a World map, as an extra continent:sad:

That's probably the nation iggy wants das to be :D

Heheh, I figured you'd find that pretty quickly. That was just something I put in to check if people ever read the history.

And no, I don't really like OTL nations in this NES. The Moguls are gone now, so that's all good.

Yeah, I appreaciate that that the mod will try to make our generals feel like individuals who make their own decisions, but what kind of general would order full charge of ramids directly into enemy phalanx? it's suicide, generals should know that! Generals should atleast somehow play according to the plans given to them.

and I think that military system where 4,000 would be 40 hundreds would be better for this nes. Untill scales go up...

Veritas, umm, you wanna reconsider?

Let me think about it...

Nah. ;)

Btw Iggy, I like the current system, but it would be good to consider the forces used....aka Ramids suffer higher casualties when fighting spearmen, Latismen suffer lower casualties when fighting spearmen, etc.

From: Veritas
To: Khemri

We would suggest peace at current borders, actually.

I have a dream... where NESers can send simple orders and feel safe that they will not be abused by the Mod...

But about that, it wasn't a Phalanx. Since Shalamari and Gorinese forces were together, you bashed through a bunch of Bajo axemen then ran into a Phalanx. That's my reasoning at least.

@Kal'Thzar- The Kehex are at peace with everyone now. And Tekrehexou DOES wish to remain part of Khemri.

 oh my dear friend, you have no idea what das has been through when i've been sending orders to him... ;)

btw is that guangefei's current location the exact one, or did you cut'n paste it from somewhere further away?

I can imagine. *shudder*

Edit: DAMN CROSSPOSTING!!!

I was talking to andis there. And in response to andis again: Go check for yourself.

Yes, it's cut and pasted.
