LINESII- Into the Darkness

Hmm... Technically the update was posted 6 hours late, but I wasn't awake yet... Yes, Panda story! Perhaps the Pandas rescuing Emperor Qianlong from the fall of Beijing? :mischief:

DE-HUZZAH! [party] In spite of the fact that I'm invaded, this was a quite satisfactory update! :goodjob:

From: Shalamari

Peace at current borders? :p

To: Veritas
From: The Swade Ascendancy

Do not attempt to escalate this conflict any further by sending troops to Swade Territory. We wish for peace, and have done you no harm.

OOC: Yes, have a look at the escalating conflict that is the Great Nurmaferi war.

Khemri attacks Nurmafer.

Veritas attacks Khemri for attacking Nurmafer.

Kehexou rebels because of Khemri's distraction because Khemri is fighting Veritas.

Gorin and Shalamari declare war on Veritas for attacking Khemri because Khemri attacked Nurmafer.

Gerbers invade Moguls because of the superpower's distraction because of the war between Veritas and Khemri's allies started because Khemri invaded Nurmafer.

Superpowers then split up the rest of the Moguls because they were weakened because the Gerbers invaded because of the superpower's distraction because of the war between Veritas and Khemri's allies started because Khemri invaded Nurmafer.

Nkondi attacks Shalamari because Shalamari is fighting the Veritasians with Khemri and Gorin because Veritas attacked Khemri because Khemri attacked Nurmafer.

Plus the other minor wars appearing because of the superpowers distraction. Sempronia would have never been attacked if Veritas wasn't preoccupied.

Your allies took our colony, and you have insulted our peaceful missionaries. Veritas and Emor have a strong alliance forged through centuries of trade and friendship, and our nations have existed longer than your mind can comprehend. We will wage war until Emor is restored, and you are driven back to the jungle where you belong.

We give you one chance to withdraw. Think carefully.

From: Veritas
To: Zibonian Rebels

We have, perhaps, made a mistake in treating you so harshly. If you lay down your weapons and return to Veritas, we promise to give you respect and equality among the Republic's peoples. We also promise your right to elect members to the Assemblum of Emoria in Kallamas, and the High Assemblum in Veritas.

You realize, of course, that your little rebellion will be eradicated if you refuse our generous offer.

From: Veritas
To: Shalamari

Words fail to express the betrayal.

Nes2 VI….

Beijing was burning the city had fallen to the barbaric Frenchmen after a long and hard battle. Despite determined resistance, the massive French Army was already on the outskirts of the Forbidden Palace only slowing down to deal with some of the more fanatical defenders. As cannon fire continued to be heard, a Panda fleet descended from the heavens and quickly gained access to Emperor Qianlong. The middle aged man had been quiet in prayer to his ancestors asking for forgiveness. With a swift blow he was knocked out and the Pandas retreated to their ships undisturbed.

Of course, a hologram of Emperor Qianlong was made showing him to be urging the defenders on and taking a rifle himself before being blown to pieces by a French cannon ball. The Pandas took off and began the Trans-Dimensional Jump to LINESII…

LINESII

Admiral Hsu-Fu looked at the display screen showing the various nations and tribes and scoffed. Barbaric peoples, with buildings obviously influenced by polar bear and penguin design especially the nation known was “Fa-ri-ta,’ obviously secretly controlled by polar bears. How he missed Earth so much compared to this Tellus, but the Overlord had ordered so and it would be done. The Superior and Better East Asiatic Culture would be spread to all dimensions even if it was a bit late in this World. But there was hope, the main body of nations were too busy fighting each other and hopefully when they reached Guangfei, Guangfei would be strong enough to destroy them.

He imperviously waved his paw and had the Former Emperor of Qing China, Qianlong brought forward who had been awake for quite a while observing everything with the eyes of an intellectual. Observing him for a while he reached his conclusion. Qianlong would take the place of his of Liu Bang’s son Liu Hui in Guangfei. Changing minds was a simple thing mastered eons ago before the penguins had begin skidding. The new “Hui” would basically have the same memories and personality of the old “Qianlong” except he would be much, much more intelligent and shrewd. And plus he would have dreams of his old life.

And the old “Hui?” He would become Emperor “Qianlong” and be sent to back to Real History to show the time when he was getting “old” and become manipulated. He did worry sometimes about how they were manipulating the time spectrum but oh well. It was nothing to fear really. Until the red sirens begin going off like crazy signaling a problem. A rumpled looking panda engineer ran up to the bridge and begun spluttering about how the trans-dimensional device had broken down and that they needed to find a safe place to repair it with a source of fresh water and snow.

Not to mention bamboo, a lot of bamboo. He sighed, well while they were here they might as well do something worthy…

Why no complaint to Khemri or Gorin too?

Edit: Speaking to Thlayli.

penguins had begin skidding.

What do you mean by that? And actually, the penguins don't have much influence in this dimension. They have one facility, and it's on the most hellish, small and miserable island in this entire planet. Although they have some satellites as well.

MjM isn't online. He's leading the rebellion, not me. Oh, and he's banned. Here's the story he asked me to post:

MjM said:
The young boy was running swiftly. He heard the town bell ringing, which could only mean trouble.
"Father, father! uttered the Young Boy, when he approached him.
"What is happening father?"
"Quiet son" said the boy's father, in a cold tone.

The young boy looked aurond. He was in his village center. About the whole village was there, he gussed. Which numbered about 100 people, or so. They had all gathered for something, which still remained a mystery.
A burly man, with a coat of bronze armor stepped down from his chariot. His voice was hard, like stone, with no remorse. He wouldn't forget it.
"By the order of the Asseblum, among other powers, we need to carry out this village's punishment."
"For What?!" shouted a young man.
"For helping the enemy, thats what!" barked the armored man.
The Village Leader stepped from a large group of people and walked toward the armored man. He was old. He had a feeble dispostion. he boy thought he didnt strike much fear into enemies.
"We have helped no enemy, sir. We just live in our village, not bothering most of the outside world. We face quite enough persecution, being Zibonese." said the old man.
"And also sir, how could we help the enemy from here? Isnt the enemy on the other side of many mountains, forests, rivers, even a sea?"
The Armored man didn't like the disagreement with his statement. He quickly pulled a blade, and stabbed the old man. Killing him.
Everyone scattered, to their huts, to the forest if they can.
The ones who fled to their homes were consumed by fire, conusmed by a rain of fire arrows, the shooters hidden in the forest. They died in a fiery blaze.
The ones who fled to the forest were hunted down and brutally killed.
The ones who managed to raise some arms, did so only to be brutally destroyed, not inflicting any mentionable damage.
The young boy watched this, then immediately fell down, for an arrow struck him in the back.

Ashes, thats what the smell was. When he awoke he smelt the overwhelming aroma of ashes. And a new smell.
Death.
The boy tried to get up, only to be greeted by a very sharp pain in his back.
The arrow.
He needed to remove it somehow. But he lacked any energy at all. He didnt know how long he'd been asleep.
He decided not long enough.

He awoke again. He felt somewhat better. But the feeling of hunger, of thirst, ached him sorely. And the arrow of course.
It had broken high at the shaft, only a little bit of it remained.
He pulled with all his might, it came loose after a little bit.
He began to bleed, but it felt somewhat better now it was gone.
The boy looked aurond, and saw his village. His Village.
Gone.
Anything of value was burnt, the bodies everywhere. It seemed he was alone.
All Alone.
He began to wander. He went to the watering hole of the village.
To his amazement it was intact. He drank the sweet, cold water until his belly was filled.

The boy wandered, until he reached the mountains. There he lived, for years. Until the boy became a young man, age 17.
He had grown rough, learning to care for himself. He was tall, had dark skin, and scruffy hair.
The most prominent feature was his bright, blue eyes. Very rare for someone of his race.
Something was important on this day though.
Today was the day. The day he would attempt to gain revenge, for the murder of his entire village.
But not just for them, but revenge for the injustice of his people.
The Zibonese.
He would try to free them from the shackles of Veristean injustice. He would recreate the Golden days.
The days of Zibon.

The young man approached a large town, near the hub of Zarz.
He approached the town center, where a large amount of people were already there, for market.
He picked this town, because he knew a large part of it, majority (which was unheard of anywhere else) of it was inhabitated by Zibonese.
He stood up on the largest object in the center, so his voice would project.
"Freinds, brethern. Brothers."
"I come here to tell you a tale of injustice, recoverey, discovery, and hopefully victory."
A few people began to gather.
"Many years, I lived in a small village."
"One day, Veristean soilders approached it."
More people came. Some guards as well, unfortunately.
"They said we would pay, pay for helping an enemy."
"An enemy so far away, if we were in fact collabators to their cause, it would be impossible to help."
Some more came. Guards began to shuffle to the front.
"And after we denied, we died. The entire village, burnt, destroyed, looted. Everyone killed, but me."
"Why did they do this? I asked myself many times. I've come to a conclusion."
Guards came closer.
"Because, my freinds, brothers, bretheren. We were Zibonese. Because, we looked different."
"Because lady and gentlemen, we are differnet. And we should not be ashamed! Or looked down upon."
People began to chatter amongst themselves, loudly.
"We must stop this! We cannot have repeats of what happened many years ago."
"Who knows how many times its happened? It just gets carried out to the fullest on those occasions."
Guards took aim.
"Rise up! Rise up to face the oppressors!"
"Rise up! We can be great again! Imagine, Zibon, Reborn! It can happen, but you must rise! RISE!"
The arrow flew with speed and deadly accuracy. In the back.
This time, he wouldnt get up.

Soon after that, the area around Zarz was in open rebellion. Word had spread of it, and many Zibonese tried to make their way South, or just rebel were they are.
The stage is set for change.

YOu call US barbarians , when we have wiht our sophistication and strategy, defeated your treasured civilized ally. You brought the attack upon yourself when you dared expand to our lands. Emor claimed our soverign territory and thought she would get away with it. Are you blind, or did Emor forget to tell you that. You are a falling superpower, and he are not cowed by your threats. We wish for peace but you only bring war. We call upon Emor to sign peace with us, so the bloodsed may stop. If you are only a puppet of Veritas, who only knows Bronze because of the genius of the Swade and the Benevolence of the Blademaster, then we understand. But all of Bladism will be mobilized if this war continues.

Sent your Archers or Marchers, your silly ships. We will meet them as we have before, and your blood will cover our swords.

It's a reference to how ancient the Pandas are :p

@thlayli, I would have thought the same about the Uligurs and Mongolians in China ;)

You know whats hilarious. After checking the stats, I could theoretically route Veritas:D

I'm dug in, we have the same number of troops, and he can't afford to send more than 3000 my way

The stats aren't updated you know :p

Well actuallt Alex, mine are the same, since i lost only the people i built, and then there is verita who lost.

-2000 Veritasian Latismen, -2000 Veritasian Spearmen, -1000 Veritasian Falchions, -2000 Phoenix Archers.. That 7,000 troops, and they can only buy 6,000 more, not to mentin campaign funding....

So the scales were even, now I in fact have a larger Military:D

Veritas, umm, you wanna reconsider?

Veritas must fall! If she attacks me:)
