(0)1375AD- Preflight check... I whip Delhi's Theatre, because the one unhappy citizen isn't going to be helping us in any other way...
Eagle's Nest is a real dillema. It will take forever to grow, or I could stagnant it below it's happiness limit, and hope the production makes up for it... I'm going to choose to stagnant it to work the anvil for now. Those cottages... I would like to chain farm the land up from Deux Riveres. There's not a lot of useable real estate around Eagle's Nest, and most of it is production related, so we should make this city one of our top industrial ones.
(1)1380AD- Kill Barb is an excellent production machine. I'll keep up the Maceman production, although I might throw a few Elephants in too. They would be much more useful against Alex's Horse Archers than Spearman.
Liquidia is done with it's missionary... Ok... Why do we care again? I thought we were killing machines, not religious fogies. Oh well. I'll play along. Another missionary.
S&M starts a monastary. Cheap culture will overrun Valencia to the south. I hope...
Delhi starts on a Worker, and I shift some tiles to help it get done in a staggeringly long 11 turns. Make sure to shift them back to more food after. We need a permanent worker here, as Ghandi doesn't seem to have done much, and it needs to connect to our empire.
(2)1385AD- Ghandi converts to Hinduism! How ironic. And not surprising, seeing as his last city only has Hinduism in it.
I kill a barbarian. How exciting...
(3)1390AD- Ghandi was destroyed by Alex... Saw that one coming. Now... our are defenses along the route strong enough to withstand Alex's attacks? We'll see in a few turns.
Hmm... There was a worker chop rushing at Delhi? Good. Now I can do something productive. Granary. Let's start making this place look liveable.
The power graph says that Alex is neck to neck with us... I'm not sure it would be a good idea to attack. Lemme build walls up north first.
Move units into place. I rushed the walls

.
(4)1395AD- Let's see if I can get anything from Alex first
LMAO! He bowed to my demands to get 390 gold from him! Ok. I'll let the stack build up a bit more...
(5)1400AD- Alex's stacks are moving NORTH to get that barb City... Do I take this chance of oppertunity? I think so.
I especially like his expression as I inform him of his doom.
(6)1405AD- IBT, Alex attacks my stack with LONGBOWMEN! Ok Alex. Go ahead. Make my day. He loses his units. We get scratched up, but we're all still here.
Alright. Catapults a firing, but no suicide. And let's go! Before Alex musters more units to take me on.
Well... That's what I get for rushing. Lose 3! macemen to the 2 longbows and phalanx still in the city. But I take Delphi all the same.
I notice we have Elucid the great scientist. Having nothing else to do with him, I put him in Rexburg along with the other 2 sitting there.
(7)1410AD- Destroy a bunch of Alex's Horse Archers. Man he has a lot. But they're wounded (supposedly from the Indian war, stupid Alex didn't even bother resting them, now they die).
(8)1415AD- OMG! Barbar was killed! In the brave defence of Dehli, he was slain! Which is actually quite pathetic considering it was across a river, and then a bunch of pathetic crossbowmen won their round.
I discover that Delphi is a dead end city on the wrong side of the lake to continue to conquests. The stack will have to turn around after healing, and take the route north of Eagle's Nest.
(9)1420AD- The magnificent crossbowman, who survived where Barbar did not, proves his worth again by sucessfulling defending Dehli against another horse archer!
Bloody turn. Bombay and Liquidia are under heavy attack from Alex's forces. Macemen are very effectively destroying the enemy invaders, but they are limited in supply. And we don't have Feudalism! So no longbows for us, and the cities themselves are very soft.
(10)1425AD- Bombay loses her two macemen guards. I've got two Phalanx's a catapult, and a horse archer all over that. Luckily, reinforcements will be there next turn. All they can do is tear up the countryside, which is bad as well...
The good news is that I've found Thermopylae, and surrounded it with troops. They're not stacked, because Alex has a catapult in there. I'm also attempting to lure the sucker out so I can kill his troops in the open, which would be ideal. A catapult is small sacrifice for that.
(11)1430AD- A lucky cat manages to dispose of one of the Phalanxs maurading Bombay. Even better news, that Phalanx was stacked with the other Phalanx AND the enemy pult.
The barbs have entered our territory too en masse. I dispose of one before it can hurt our poor cottage. You guys are gonna kill me for messing up the infrastructure

(something that Liq is all too familiar with).
(12)1435AD- Delphi is online. I set it to build a theatre. I want to push back some of the culture Izzy will have... And claim territory

.
Holy S!@#. Gibs Meathook has just won 3 consecutive flawless victories now. He's got 5 freaking promotions, 2 of which are city raider. You know what that means Liq

. Bigman Gibs!
One of my wandering kick@$$ spearmen discovers Sparta...
(13)1440AD- Uh. lol guys. I was attacking Therm... because the catapult pile finally got there. The city was reduced, I suicided two Cats, and then two maceman went up and beat the pants off the first two defenders. Then a full health city raider maceman with 99% chance to win, lost to a damaged catapult! OMG! I had to use another catapult to finish the job. Damn incompetent macemen...
Done destroying Alex's forces in our lands. Unfortunately he's sending more. Fortunately, they're most Phalanxs, which our nice Macemen will eat for breakfast.
(14)1445AD- Actually... just moving units around. No real fighting. Wow.
(15)1450AD- Mopping up units. I'll leave our attack force in Thermopylae for the next player to decide what to do with them. They can either go north, or west to Sparta. I have no idea what is to the north. Sparta has about 5 defenders in it, so we may need to replenish maceman stocks.
Turn Synopsis... Yeah. Sorry. I ruined our infrastructure. Didn't Liq tell you I would? The good news is we have two of Alex's high performance cities, and we have enough steam left to take at least another.
I've found another use for suicide cats

. Since they're so cheap to build, we can spread them out, and hope that Alex leaves his cities to attack them, leaving him vulnerable to getting smacked over the head by our Macemen. Also, when they're spread out, there is little danger of collateral damage.
I managed to lose us a lot of units (incuding Barbar

) but I think our industrial production can more than make up for the losses, especially with our new acquisitions.
I can safely say that I managed to trash our economy. I don't think we're going to be getting into the industrial age, and we will have to take the fight to Izzy while we have an able military. Note, that Izzy is Alex's "worst enemy" so she may join in feasting on his lands if he becomes to weak. Either that, or she may attack us, which is obviously not good. Although I've seen no sign of a powerful Spanish army, the power graph speaks for itself.
I checked with Alex, and he still has 5 cities left. I'm unsure of how far over that lake goes, but we may want to head first and sack the cities up north, Alex's other source of horses is there. Without horses, he cannot bother us with annoying horse archers, although I do not know if he only had 2 sources (one of them went down with Delphi).
Alex won't give us Feudalism for peace, so I don't think there's a reason to be stopping yet.
