Barbs = Roaming.
Map = Standard, large continents, wet, warm, 5 billion.
NOT culturally linked, NO restarting players.
Civ = Babylon.
Seven random opponents.
All victory conditions are enabled, even the horrid Diplomatic which I consider a loss.
4000 BC - Babylon is formed. It is a farmers gambit city.
Formed on floodplains with a nearby wheat floodplains.
Some hills in the outer ring, so it has potential for shields.
The standard warrior is order, MP mandatory at this level.
Alphabet research begun - doing the 40 turn gambit.
Border expansion reveals another wheat on plains.
3750 BC - The headache of emperor, luxury tax goes to 20%.
(I) Since I don't know the barb picture, start a warrior.
I really don't like sending settlers to explore.
3700 BC - Luxury tax cancel for the moment.
3550 BC - I general don't like to road forest, but since this is a key square for Babylon - road ordered.
(I) Our first settler is ordered.
3500 BC - 10% luxuries are back.
3450 BC - I think we can corner the market Ivory.
3250 BC - 20% luxuries.
3200 BC -
(I) Babylon will be a settler factory, another is ordered.
3050 BC - We get to pop a goody hut - Of course, angry barbs.
Summary - Settler is approaching the lot of Ivory site.
I was thinking w, sw to build the city.
