Losing the race, winning the wonder?

Was playing a recent game as the Dutch and decided to build Shwedagon Paya (sp?) since I had gold and it was only gonna take about 10 turns. Anyways, I built it, got the video and changed my civics, and then...was refunded around 400 gold because The Hague was supposedly unable to continue working on it!

This a fairly common glitch? Don't get me wrong, getting 400 gold AND my wonder was nice, but...still. Kinda odd.

Did you start to build it in The Hague, and then completed it in another city?

If so, it's understandable. Strange, but understandable.

No, I thought about that and sure enough, it's in The Hague.

I once got something similar with the Space Elevator in Vanilla. I completed it, got the message and the movie, and my city even showed it. The next turn I was refunded about 2300 gold and told Hatsephsut had completed. So I looked at my city, and it was gone. Went into demographics and it showed Hatsephsut as having it.

Did you put the SP in the build order of another city, then cut it out for The Hague to build it?
If so, the computer will keep the data that says City A was building it (since it was in its order), and thus, since it couldn't complete the wonder, you're refunded. Its an exploit even in Vanilla.
