Update 13:
Year 1918
German Troops in the Alps
Europe:
PROCLAMATION OF THE GERMAN UNION: Frankfurt, Rhenish Confederacy: In the wake of the ever growing German nationalism movement, and the recent fight against France by the Rhenish Confederacy, a deal has been struck between the governments of Bavaria, Prussia and Rhineland. A union of Germans, unstoppable by those who wish the people harm, bound by tradition of monarchy with a stable democratic arm. King Wilhelm of Prussia was announced as Emperor of Germany, with the pledge to secure his homeland and the homelands of his brothers in nationality. The three regions are in most aspects limitedly autonomous, with a central government in Berlin. The military has been unified under a single banner and the war with France is still on. Fueled mostly by the evidence that the French wish to break the Germans up and annex them.
SUMMER OFFENSIVE BREAKS LINE AT RHINE: Paris, France: During the Winter and spring a massive build up of German and British troops across the Rhine resulted in the largest single offensive since WW1, even beating the numbers of the American Polish Campaign. In order to stop this, the French army sent twenty divisions and new armored cars to hopefully push the British to the sea, however, the news of the German Union and over forty German divisions marching their direction eventually led to a retreat. With the French lacking machineguns the war quickly turned into a turkey shoot. Soon the French found themselves on the retreat, pushing the lines back to Antwerp where a massive battle took place from June-August. The Battle of Antwerp saw over a million men combat. German and British air superiority and massive teams of machine gunners won in the end. Forcing the French to give up hope of decisively defeating the British in the Netherlands.
CASUALTY LIST:
France: 22 Divisions, 3 Artillery Brigades, 1 Marine Division
Germany: 17 Divisions, 1 Artillery Brigade, 1 Fighter Squadron
Britain: 3 Divisions, 1 Artillery Brigade
FRENCH ISSUE CONSCRIPT LAW: Paris, France: With the Germans rapidly breaking the lines in the north, Napoleon orders all males age 18-30 be conscripted into the army. (+30 Militia Divisions)
FRENCH VICTORY IN ITALY, BRITISH HOLD OUT ON SICILY: Venice, Italy: The first true naval battle of the war, south of Naples took place between a large French force and the weaker British naval patrol in the area. The use of an Airship from Italy allowed the sinking of a few ships and the turning away of the British invasion force preparing to strike behind the lines on land. With the British seeing a defeat, the French morale at an all time high and a large invasion force cutting behind Neapolitan lines, Italy was lost to the allies. France had secured the Peninsula and could turn some troops around to fight the Germans. The British and Neapolitan armies retreated onto Sicily and prepared for an invasion which never came. The French had more to worry about.
CASUALTY LIST:
France: 7 Divisions, 1 Escort Group
Italy: 4 Divisions
Naples: 6 Divisions
Britain: 3 Divisions, 2 Escort Groups, 1 Light Vessel Group
GERMANS PUSH INTO ITALY: Munich, German Union: The German mountain corps have launched a surprise offensive into Italy and in a fast manner, swept over the countryside and shocked the French and Italians who had little soldiers in these areas. The Germans managed to cut supplies to southern Italy by land but were to late to stop the French troops from pushing south. Early victories gained much land, but the French army has sent a force to push them out and stop the advance. As winter approaches it seems they may be stuck in Italy until spring can bring reinforcements.
CASUALTY LIST:
French Empire: 2 Divisions
German Empire: 2 Mountain Divisions
Italy: 1 Division

HELLENIC REPUBLIC INVADES BULGARIA: Athens, Hellenic Republic: After years of military growth and technological expenditures, the military was ordered to invade Bulgaria while the rest of Europe was to busy to bother with it. Bulgaria: 5 Divisions, 2 Escort Groups, 15 Light Vessel Groups
Hellenic Republic: 1 Division, 1 Light Vessel Group
PEACE IN SCANDINAVIA: Stockholm, Sweden: In the short war over Norway, Sweden has backed down in a respectable peace agreement with Britain. Much to the delight of the people. (lower dissent)
Africa/Middle East:
ISLAMIC CALIPH INVADES EGYPT: Cairo, French Empire: An invasion across the canal led to one of the worst events in the history of attacking a defended location. As the Islamic navy could not get close to Egypt with the French fleet holding their ground, they chose to go ahead with the land invasion. The French ahd prepared by mining, fencing and fortifying the entire region, unknown to the Islamic troops who walked into a slaughter. The French were able to pick off many who weren’t blown up by mines or tangled in barbwire. Islamic troops eventually called off the attack but kept up air raids on the position. Now resulting to shelling the region to clear a path in the mine fields.
CASUALTY LIST:
Islamic Caliph: 5 Militia Divisions, 10 Divisions
France: 1 Division (Air Raids)
BRITISH CONTINUE TO GAIN GROUND IN FRENCH COLONIES: West Africa: Without any French soldiers to defend the colonies, the few British divisions are marching merrily through them and claiming resources they find for the Empire.
Americas:
CUBAN GOVERNMENT SETUP BY MEXICO: Havana, Cuba: The new Cuban government, more conservative and mostly controlled by Mexican officials from afar, has replaced the infantile communist government. Guerrilla fighters continue to hold out in the mountains.
SOUTH AMERICAN WAR: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: The war continues, as the Brazilians still hold the land advantage in numbers, but not in technology. The lines have stalled and the bloody battles rage on. Brazil has conscripted several divisions to fight while launching a couple new submarines to target British ships. The sub war is keeping the British, Plate and South Africa navies away from Brazil and allowing them to hold their own against the mighty commonwealth.

REVOLTS IN INDIA: British Empire: With much outside aide a Pan-Indian Nationalist movement has formed, under the guidance of a very charismatic leader they have, mostly, dropped differences and gained a common goal. End British imperialism in India. Large scale weapon smuggling and training in remote regions have prepared them over the last few years for the Great Mutiny. Nearly everything symbolizing British rule, barracks, buildings, railroads. Have been burnt or bombed. All of India is revolting in spots and major population centers. Indian soldiers recently called up into the British militia have in some cases killed their white officers and given weapons and troop locations to the revolution. The rebellion has taken a hit on the British economy (-5 IC) while ports and railroads are being siezed or destroyed.
CASUALTY LIST:
Indians: Unknown
Britain: 4 Divisions, 6 Militia Divisions
BRITAIN FAILS TO GAIN VICTORY IN INDONESIA: Singapore, British Empire: Vietnam and China join the war in time to send troops into Siam while the now captured Australasian marine division in Borneo is shipped off to Japan and the rest of the region is secured. Americans decided to fight in the north and try to fight in Korea, only for the Chinese to disrupt their plans. The British navy was forced to flee to Sri Lanka with uncertainty in India during the rebellions. Giving the Asians unprecedented freedom in the seas. The Australasian army and navy retreated to defend their own shores while the Japanese slowly took British Indonesia and even down to Timor. Threatening Australia proper with her mighty navy and army. In South East Asia the Asians managed to push up Malaya Peninsula and the China from the north helped push the British out by sea. Had it not been for the Indian revolt the theater could have gone drastically different.
CASUALTY LIST:
Britain: 6 Divisions, 3 Artillery Brigades, 1 Mountain Division, 1 Battleship, 6 Escort Groups, 20 Light Vessel Groups
Japan: 10 Divisions, 1 Battleship, 5 Escort Groups, 10 Light Vessel Groups
