Man's Work: mod release

AI is limited to use artillery at all. You will see it from time to time, but no waits artillery overpower from AI.
In theory, AI can use land transport; i saw evidence in other mod thread and once or twice in my test games. Ofc very few times comparing to amount of APCs and infantry it can produce. Standard civ game miss such uncommon strategies that makes ai dumb, but land transport has too big role in real to miss it in mod.
I think multirole helicopters can be used for transportation like APCs - rarely, but ai uses them well as regular combat units. Steph's editor allows you to set specific unit strategy even if it locked in original civ editor by other options. And it works. But can be lost if you save the scenario in original civ editor.
Drones are from very misc type of units (just 3 tiers: zeppelins->awacs->drones) - movable air units for explore, but ai don't need to explore smth, especially on revealed map.
Tu-95 is a nuclear bomber itself, you don't need any missiles to load into. Computer players gladly nuke each other with them. (there is note in civilopedia basic scenario page about label Transport:1 for bombers - it's not for transportation)
I didn't select carrier flag for New Jersey and Odin? Okay, maybe these only two hybrid battleships are too unique prototypes to let AI build and operate them :)
AI knows how to use mines, strange and surprisingly :)
To prevent ai from building a lot of expensive dots/turret in his towns, there are no strategy flags. But it still can build a few accidentally.

so for example, do u suggest anti-tank infantry for example to flag (offence-artillery-naval power) as land unit so it can uses better its artillery abilities?
hm.. about SAM units, there are no flag too, so AI do not overproduce them>? i though SAM systems could be mobile and let the AI move them in difference cities... not?

Maybe. Can't remember i ever try naval power flag for land units.
There ARE defense flag for SAM units, but it doesn't help ai to produce them and it prefer to guard his forces by mobile AA vehicles.

Gwen, do you plan to replace Portugal with something else? Right now all it's unique units are two early infantries. Other civs like perhaps Netherlands, Thailand, Romania could offer more.

Yes, Romania, also as Finland and Bulgaria were in list of potential civs, but my choice fell on Portugal (and Iraq) by some reasons: 1.There should be pure generic nations 2.Because of cultural balance 3.And their most prominent leaders.

Not obvious choice anyway, but replace a civilization now is no more an option. Better add unique units in possible updates :)

Just started a game. The entire map is revealed right at the start, so now I can see every resource and city. Is this how it's supposed to be?

I think that it and is conceived. The 19th century, blank spots on the map already almost didn't remain.

One of consequences of it is the bright player can collect all technologies of the first era from barbaric huts. I so did. Pretty big bonus.

Another is that trading maps is now useless as a diplomatic tool...

Right, that was a reason, a hard choice between history and gameplay.

Eager to explore players able to manually cover the map by unchecking related flagbox in the editor. That should keep game to work fine.

You still can't see other player's construction activity or nuclear hits without self exploring or trading maps. Yes it worthless trade in gold, but anyway

Moderator Action: Welcome to CivFanatics. We are an English language forum and you are required to post an English translation your post. leif

From Google translate:
Is it possible to import a map or create your own, as well as edit units, etc.? And then I tried to edit the MansWork.biq bic file through the editor, but the changes are not saved. What could be the reason?

Yeah, that bug's hard-wired into the Civ3 engine. If a resource is called by too many elements it won't parse properly and CTD. It's a problem in a lot of scenarios with huge unit rosters.
