I'll have to redo power stats, but I'm pretty sure Austronesia, having eaten India, is now a top 5 power, which means no alliances can be made. No formal one, anyway.

I believe we already discussed what Germania was planning to do there. A member of the Kaiser's family will be placed on the throne of German India, Protestantism will be imposed as the state language, Germanic and West Slavic will become the daily languages and a variety of diplomatic and military arrangements will be established between the East and West Germans.

Pakistan is given the same treatment as India before it:

-Austria releases Pakistan as a Hindu state
-Austria signs a defense treaty with Pakistan, and also makes sure the Habsburg family intermarries with local notables
-Austria keeps a province on the Indian border as a buffer in the region.

Pakistan soon strikes up a deal with Iberia, approved by the Austrian overseers, to switch Confucians and Hindus. Iberia now must take steps to protect both Holy Islam and its greatest rival, Confucianism.
