Hmm, er, yeah. I'd really prefer if people didn't abbreviate "Magnus". It's really not that long of a word, and I am NOT "Mag". I have no idea who that would be, but it isn't me. If you really cannot take the time to type the whole word, use "MI", or "M.I.".
Yes, there is a Neanderthal there. Seems a bit early in the game to me as well, but it's there.

Neanders can show up after 11 turns into the game. At least that was the way they were set up.
What's wrong with Mag, MI? It's not a girl's name that I know of. Now if I'd typed Maggie I could see the resentment.

Did other ppl know that ls612 is Not at his computer in the evenings any more but only on his android? So he can't take his turn in the evenings. When can he take them?
This just puts another logjam up. Now Hydro, Vokayra, myself, T-Brd, and Praetyre are all pushed back to when? Then padams gets set back 20 more hours. This is so very frustrating the casualness and carelessness. I'm getting cranky again!
If you commit to playing a game with ppl around the world you need to Live Up to your commitment. Being forgetful and oblivious of others time commitments is rude in this type situation. No ls612 I'm not happy at all.
Edit: Just informed that after 7pm ls612 can Not take his turn that day in Either game. This is ridiculous.

I'm taking my turn now, just so that things can keep moving. I'm not trying to slow things down, but I do have time constraints, and I can't normally do this this late. I'm able to do it today because it is a weekend.
Edit: Done now. But please realize that we all have real lives as well.

If you are not picky about nicknames, that great. It's good that you can be that flexible. Unfortunately, I am not. What's wrong with it? I have no idea, except that it is not me. It's not the name I have chosen to use for this venue, nor is it a name I would ever choose to be known as. Whether it's a girl's name or not is irrelevant, as it's not me. Also, I'm not a Duck, and I hate having water on me in that way (yes, I know it's a metaphor and not meant literally, but I'm just not flexible in that way either). If you can't respect my preferences for something this personal, then that speaks to your failings, not mine.

I am finding the situation quite difficult but at the same time not something that I am getting concerned about. Turns come when they come and the game progresses when it progresses. If my turn comes at midnight because of praetyre that's not problem... I just take my turn when I come home from work at 6pm my time. Sometimes preatyre takes his turn at 6pm my time so I can take my turn instantly.
What I do however is set this game as a low priority in my life so I'm not always thinking about it. What I am constantly thinking about is getting my surface pro which still isn't released in Australia. Because I think about it all the time I get angry about it so instead I found a distraction. I jailbroken my ipad and just went nuts with cydia apps such as emulators. It's like I owned a new device 10x better than a normal ipad.
If the game becomes a negative "take your turn now or I'll get angry" type thing I could see people starting to not want to play then giving up. The way I see it we do this when we can and then we don't overdose/get bored of it.
If possible it would be great if myself and preatyre could swap places in turn order. Is that possible?

Just so you know I won't have access to my computer for the rest of the night (going to bed in an hour anyway) so preatyre don't rush because I can't take my turn anyway...

Either way there comes a time when one of us goes on long vacation in some warm Southern country and then we can't take our turn for weeks. If you want to swap turn, you also need to swap Civilization. ( Me and Joseph did that)
You can't be committed to something 24/7 that maybe will take 2 years to finish. But checking this thread is beginning to be a habit so I don't think I will forget my turn again
