Medieval European Mod II 2016-10-05

This is a wonderful mod i must say. Any tips for expanding quickly? I think i will compile some soundtracks from the original medieval total war and listen as im playing.
Once again....nice mod,very immersive......Thanks

Lol, that is an interesting trick!

Hey, this is an awesome mod. I have really been enjoying to play it.

I am playing the 11th century conquest scenario for this mod as the Holy Roman Empire. I have conquered Bohemia so have the Kingdom of Bohemia small wonder in the city of Prague but am seeing no option of building the King of Bohemia wonder... how do I make Bohemia a vassal and become King of Bohemia?

Thanks!

Thanks, I definitely checked that. I have feudalism as my government type and Bohemia is listed as one of the possible vassal states under feudalism.

Yeah, the civilopedia says you need over 10 cities. But I definitely have more then 10 (the Holy Roman Empire starts with more then 10). Does that mean you need to have an extra 10 to support a new palace-like structure?

Its not too big a deal but was just curious. Thanks for the replies,

It's ten cities on a standard sized map, if I remember correctly. The map is larger.

Yeah, that must have been it. When I hit 15 cities it let me build the King of Bohemia. That is a rule I did not know about larger maps needing more cities. Thanks,

Khazaria was never in the 11th century map. It's only in the blank maps without any pre-placed cities (and still should be!) :)

EDIT: In the 11th century map, Khazaria has been replaced with Vladimir-Suzdal.

Is there anything in the mod structure that prevents it from being changed? I've tried to do a simple change in the editor and save it as a new biq, but everytime I open said biq the game freezes up during the load screen for the scenario. I'm not exactly a noob when it comes to civ3 and modding or modding in general, so this is highly frustrating to me.

Attached is the file.

I don't have Civ3 installed right now, but I can assure you we didn't put anything in there prevent changes to the BIQ. All BIQs were saved with normal editor. What did you change? Does it happen when you just save it (with the same name) too?

I closed the Bosphorus Strait (grid location 64,74) with a woodland terrain (with a road over the top of it). I then also changed the Diplomacy tech to allow MPP, and the Nation-State tech to allow military alliances (reversing how it is normally).

And I have tried it with the same biq name. The game loads it up to the 'Configuring Scenario' stage and then simply freezes up using 50% of my cpu, and never moves beyond that stage. I know its this biq; I don't have problems with any other system or program acting like this, and I can open and play other scenarios just fine (including non-altered MEM).

No; that's easily what's most frustrating about this. I haven't changed anything in the MEM folder or the file structure; as I said I only tried making a small change to the biq and it wouldn't work and I have no idea why.
