Zelet, you remind me a little of James Cagney:

Maybe you should try getting a hairstyle like him? ;)

Well I approve of said hair cut!

Apparently despite four photos I'm not very commentable on!

Where are these four photos? :p

I missed them.

You probably missed it cos I dont have any kids/awards to flaunt.

/joke!/

Actually, it was very interesting to finally see ya. You look different to how I expected you to be! (duh) It's kinda funny how your facial expression is the same in the first three pictures.

Reading back my post it seems very egotistical and douchey... apologies for that everyone.

Yeah Yared, I need to work on my range of facial expression. Or learn poker.

Found an old one; cheers to Jock - third from right in the front rank - for uploading it.

I'm the one with his face not blurred out - not that you can really tell - second from the right in the rear rank. A very long time ago at the School of Infantry, Brecon, on the mortar course - learning to throw explosive things out of tubes. Photo complete with our two resident RLG (Rather Large Ghurkas) - I'm not standing up very straight by the look of it, but they were both about 5'9" where they're supposed to be tiny little things.

Cool picture. Do you mind my asking what year that was in?

And why the massive variety in headgear?

Must have been 1973, I think, give or take a few.

Different headgear means different regiments; I was the only paratrooper (maroon beret, wings cap-badge) on course. Far left in the rear rank was Ghurka infantry, I think the one next to him was from the Worcester and Sherwerd Foresters, other RLG is Ghurka Engineers, then Scots Guards (I think), Parachute Regiment, some sort of Light Infantry (Somerset, by the accent), then from the left another Cheshire, a Royal Green Jacket (I think), one Jock, a Royal Marine, another Jock (who uploaded the photo), another light division bloke from the same regiment as Tiny and 'Joe' (for the 'tache') on the right was a Gloster.

Meh, don't think too much about it :p It's okay to be egotistical, as long as you do it in an over-the-top, obviously joking manner.

1973?? You must be in your 50s, Flying Pig!

Well, it was 38 years ago, so that wouldn't be too difficult. :)

I think he is either 69 or 70.
