Ok GTA fans, here is your fix after San Andreas.

Complete freedom.Yes.Go anywhere and do anything. As the box says "No limits,no barriers and no mercy"

Just started. So far I have jacked military vehicles, blown up jeeps,AA guns, mobile AA launchers and several buildings and captured 1 of the 52 "playing cards".Tons O fun :D

This is not a cheap GTA clone. There are similarities, such as stealing vehicles, side missions but thats where it ends.

I'm definitely recommending this game.Especially for the GTA type game fans. Its a blast with the freedom we luv.

Ps-great controls in this one.I usually struggle a bit with third person except GTA and this one.Very short learning curve.

Now get out there Merc, and blow the crap out of everything

You do have the ability to wreak random havoc but you really get enough of that on missions and chasing the "52"

North Korea has been thrown into chaos by a coup led by General Song.Factions, with vested interest, have established their presence.

You are the mercenary. You choose from 1 of 3 characters.Your "big" mission is to capture or kill all the North Koreans pictured in a 52 card deck of playing cards.
But in order to accomplish that goal, you are gonna have to work with the local factions to gain intelligence on the "52".There are South Koreans,Chinese,Russian Mafia,Allied and North Korean factions. The North is always hostile but the others you can influence thru contracts you fulfill for them.So far this has included destroying vehicles/bunkers/buildings,assasination and theft.

As you improve your alliances, they give you intel on the 52 and various support including all manner of bombing(precision, cluster etc),artillery barrages and resupply drops.

You carry 2 weapons and grenades along with your PDA which you use to comminicate with HQ for airstrikes, artillery and extractions of captured "52"

The map is quite large and full of all manner of stuff. You can be patroling and come across Nothern Koreans setting up an anti air site and stuff.Hostile jeeps and tanks roam the countryside.Bunkers and roadblocks abound.

And,you can blow up anything.I mean anything.Part of the game is to destroy 20 monuments of Communist Glory blah, blah.Listening sites, national treasures and blue prints are the "hidden packages" of this game.

The controls are super easy and its a ton o fun to play.

Guess I am the only one playing this game ;)

Very dependable names there.

I think I have more fun just roaming the countryside than I do on missions.

For instance:I was patrolling in an armored personel carrier(nice unit> has cannon and TOW missile and carries up to 6 passengers) with my squad when I come across a North Korean artillery compound.

I snipered who I could then unleashed my squad Rambo style.Bullets,RPGs just a flying.
Then I C4ed the 4 heavy artillery pieces and then called in air strikes to level the compound.

Very cool. This engine has huge potential. They could make one heckuva a war game with it.

oops...guess they did!

Seriously,it could be used to make some awesome free roaming WW2 games.

Rent it this weekend.
