I'm not denying that I'm scared. I'm very scared, considering that I'm surrounded by your other two cronies and don't stand much of a chance either way.
I'm really sorry, everyone. I've been really busy this weekend, and unfortunately for all of you updating this game was low on my list of priorities. I'm counting up the tally now, and I will post the updated map with the lynch writeup.
From now on, the deadline for each phase is 22:00 (10 PM) GMT (if you're not sure exactly what that translates to in your local time, look here), no matter how many or how few orders/votes there are. After the deadline is reached, I will begin making the update. Also, to save time for myself, I'm going to stop updating all maps except the armies one, which is really the only one which matters.
Although hardly any direct conflict had occurred up to this point, tensions were already flaring. After a long time of bickering and accusations, the three factions eventually came to a reluctant agreement to strip the French Empire of Provence and the armies located therein, as well as two of the armies located in Picardie.
Meanwhile, Portugal has placed 1 army each into Castile and Andalusia, and they seem poised to strike up into the heartland of Europe.
The French Empire sent both armies to Paris, presumably in an attempt to defend themselves from the impending English and Portugese invasions. The French don't seem to have much longer to live...
England placed both armies in England. They look ready to invade the French Empire and do naughty things with the beautiful Parisian ladyfolk.
Italy has sent 1 army to Rome. Italy better get moving if it wants to stand a chance against hungry Hungary.
Greece has sent 1 army to Greece. If they don't move quickly, they will be choked into submission by looming hungry Hungary.
Westphalia put 1 army each into the Netherlands and Denmark. They look ready to strike into Belgium and Norwegian holdings.
Norway has sent 2 armies into Norway, and the 2 armies from the failed expedition to St. Petersburg have returned to Norway. Fearing the attacks from surrounding Communist powers, Norway appears to be consolidating their power in their capital.
The Soviet Union has placed 1 army in St. Petersburg, preparing themselves for an incursion into Norwegian holdings in Scandinavia.
Lastly, Hungary has put 3 armies into Slovonia. Italy better pray to their mustaches for their lives. Greece, on the other hand, should simply pray to their gods.
Send me your orders for troop movement.
Phase ends at 22:00 GMT (in roughly 26 hours)!
Players:
Spoiler:
Allies [3/3]
BSmith -- England
Verarde -- Portugal
General Olaf -- Greece
Axis [3/3]
mechaerik -- Rome
landlubber -- Norway
GamezRule -- French Empire
Comintern [3/3]

Meanwhile, Portugal advanced 5 armies into Eukadi and 2 into Catalonia.
The French Empire sent all armies to Paris, but these forces were forced to retreat to Provence after an English invasion force drove them out and inflicted a casualty. There in Provence, the French will make their last stand...
England placed moved their forces from Scotland and Ireland back to England, and invaded Paris (losing one army) and undefended Picardie.
Italy moved 3 armies each to Lombardy and Naples, leaving Rome wide open for the hungry Hungarian invaders.
Greece has advanced all armies into Macedonia.
Westphalia moved an army from the Netherlands to the Rhineland and an army from Denmark into Prussia, which left Denmark unable to withstand the Norwegian invasion of the province (and also caused them to suffer a casualty).
Norway was pushed out of Finland, while at the same time advancing into Denmark.
The Soviet Union has moved an army into Livonia and Belarus, while also taking over Finland.
Lastly, Hungary has taken Rome, Bavaria, Bohemia, Romania, Bosnia, and Serbia.
Send me your orders for lynch movement.

vote: Backwards Logic Way too big for my comfort level, and indeed with your allies, maybe too big to take down at all. This turn it must be, and I ask every other player to vote this way as well, or else the commies will control the vote next turn.
I might like to suggest that I have the notion that Portugal (Verarde) and Hungary (Backwards Logic) might be mafia. My reasoning being that Verarde's vote on me tipped the balance away from Backwards Logic. I'm surrounded by hostile states, so my threat to him is literally nothing, he had nothing to seriously fear from me. However, his vote along with all of his faction against me tipped the balance away from the mafia. The remaining mafia remains in the Axis...
The final mafia is landlubber. If Italy was the final mafia, Hungary wouldn't have invaded them, but instead focused their efforts in another direction... probably Greece. That said, within the Axis, landlubber first proposed voting for Hungary, but that means nothing to clear his name, as he knew the mafia would have enough votes to keep the vote from going through.
